The annoyance with Morgan didn't stop there, though.
It had barely even started.
Taylor was area sleepover with her friends one night when Morgan called her cell phone. Her CELL PHONE!!! Seriously?!
Anyway, she and her friends Kiki, Emma, Charlie (short for Charlotte), and Abby (short for Annabelle) were watching Titanic (DUH!) when one of their phones started ringing.
"Uh, hello? Did one if you not see the sign to turn off all cell phones while in the theatre?" Charlie asked with a giggle. (They tried to make the movie as much like a movie theatre as possible, by doing things like making popcorn, dimming the lights, etc.)
"Yeah? Who forgets to turn off their phone?" Emma asked.
"It might be mine," Taylor replied, "I didn't even know I had it with me."
"Yep, it's yours, Tay." Kiki had already been digging through Taylor's bag, and had her cell phone on her hand. She tossed it to her, and for once, she actually caught it.
"I'll... Be right back..."
She looked at her phone, but the caller wasn't even in her contacts. It ha already gone to voicemail, but she thought she recognized the number. She called back.
"Hey! Taylor! Didn't think you were gonna call back!" Morgan.
"Wait... WHAT?! How did you get my number?!"
"Uh, DUH, Taylor, it's in our family's contact book."
"Right. Because if Jamie."
"Yeah."
"What do you want?"
"Do I have to want something?" he asked, "Can't a friend just call another friend?"
"No." and she hung up.
