The next morning, the girls were shopping. Early. They were five of few at the mall.
Abby giggled, covering her hand with her mouth.
"What?" Kiki asked, brushing her dark brunette bangs from her eyes.
"Oh... Nothing..."
"Okay, now I'm interested." Charlie raised an eyebrow and put her hands on her hips. All the girls stopped in their tracks.
"I get it." Emma smiled, pointing in the direction of the food court.
Boys. Cute boys. Abby an Emma always got giggly over cute boys. Except to Taylor, these boys weren't cute.
These boys were Nathan and Morgan.
Morgan.
Not AGAIN!
"Ugh!" she put her face in her hands.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Taylor, what's the matter with you?" Charlie sounded like she was getting defensive.
Over Morgan.
And Nathan. Her brother.
"That's... My brother."
"Nathan? Is it the black-haired kid?" Kiki was the only one of her friends who'd ever met Nathan, an it was when he was nine and they were six.
"Wait... That's Nathan?" Abby asked, "He's cute." She dragged out the 'u' in cute.
"Don't say that, You'll make me puke."
The rest of the girls laughed, while Taylor cupped a hand over her mouth as if she were going to puke.
"Well I think we should go over there and meet your brother and his little friend." Emma smirked.
"Please don't."
They went anyway. Within five feet of the boys, they looked up. Morgan smiled, and Nathan crossed his arms and leaned back in his seat.
"They made me." Taylor groaned, pointing her thumbs at her friends on either side of her.
Nathan chuckled. "Sure they did. You sure you didn't just come over here to see your favorite big brother?" Morgan laughed.
"You're my only big brother. And I hate your guts." Now Morgan had his hand over his mouth to keep from bursting out laughing.
"What's your problem?" Charlie asked him, her hands on her hips, shifting her weight to her right foot.
He stopped laughing immediately and looked at her. "I'm laughing. Now shut up so I can continue."
The look on Charlie's face said it all. She had never had a guy talk to her like that before. Her crystal blue eyes widened, and her jaw dropped. Her fists clenched, turning her knuckles white. Her nostrils flared, making her navy blue nose piercing sparkle just a bit.
Taylor giggled.
Charlie's head whipped around to glare at her, her bright red hair (dyed, of course) falling in her face.
Which only made Taylor laugh more.
Until she realized that the only person she was laughing with... Was Morgan. Then she stopped.
Morgan finally stopped laughing. "You're funny, Red." he sighed.
If you call me Red again..." now Charlie's face was as red as her hair.
"What? What're you gonna do?"
"Just... UGH! Whatever!" and with that, Charlie stomped away. "Come on, Taylor!"
And Taylor followed.

Told you guys this one was a little longer! But, since this is a short story, the chapters aren't exceptionally long. Either way, there's only five chapters left until this is over; some are long(ish), and others are pretty short. Next one's pretty long, though. (I think.)
