Clock ticking,
Only wishing to get away,
Weakening,
Slowly driven,
Oh the words they say,
Bag dragging through the sand,
Next meal,
I know,
It's the new girl that's drab,
Cursing,
She's hurting,
Just make it go away!
She can't.
Questions.
How are you?
Fine, she says
Wearing the fakest smile
Screams,
The internal demons killing every inch of her,
Fine
Fine
Fine
Years gone,
Time clicks on,
Time
Time
Time
Tick
Tick
Tick
Fine
Fine
She's fine
The
Concrete angel.
