Dear mr. sunshine,
Oh how you filled my world with light,
Yet somehow
I still fell.
I fell from a tall
Make believe building,
Losing hope,
My fingers ached,
My mind awake,
Yet somehow, I still have fallen.
Fallen from grace
Fallen from faith
Leaving nothing but a trace
Of sanity that I leave behind.
Oh mr. sunshine
How I wish things could change.
My heart aches for one
Who I can't even see.
Love me dearly,
Love me strongly,
I don't want to fall.
I don't want to fall from grace,
I don't want to be lost without a trace.
