How dare you throw me away?
Somehow,
I thought you'd stay.
You come and go,
Like the tides that flow
And wonder why that door is closed.
You're not needed anymore.
How can blood do what you've done?
The songs been sung,
The deed's been done.
I can't forgive,
Oh try I do.
I can't see
Why you do what you do.
I trusted you,
A child's trust is true.
But no longer can I hold to that truth,
Because every time I come back to you
"Mommy mommy, love me too?"
A hatred that I do intake,
A hate so pure,
That love is fake.
Wishing I was dead
I go to the door,
And slam it shut,
And lock that door.
