THE DARKEST HOPE
Chapter 19
Jungkook and Jimin were kissing and touching each other, Jungkook's hands were roaming under Jimin's shirt, caressing his firm lean body. Jimin was gasping from the pleasure of Jungkook's touches and just leaning back, allowing him to touch even more. Jungkook's caresses caused small shivers of delight to spread spread warmly across his skin.
Jungkook made a step back and pulled his shirt over his head, exposing his sculptured toned torso. Jimin looked at him with admiration, Jungkook surely made a beautiful sight. Jimin reached out and touched the other, hesitantly at first but then with more confidence. Their mouths connected again.
"What am I doing?" the confusing thought ran through Jimin's head but he quickly chased it away. Nothing else mattered too much right now, just that deep, strong feeling. Tonight he wanted one thing only, to touch and kiss and to be touched and kissed back by that beautiful creature in front of him.
At one moment they were kissing pressed against the door, at the next, Jungkook swiftly moved them towards the bed. He released Jimin form his embrace and with a little hesitance leaned down on the pillows. His hand gently holding Jimin's, a question in his eyes.
Jimin hardly registered what was going on anymore. His body was burning, everything he wanted at this moment was there, a step away. All he could think and feel right now was the deep desire he felt for the other. His doubts, responsibilities and worries had lost their importance almost completely, the only real and meaningful thing was that amazing feeling possessing the whole of him, and Jungkook looking at him with such want and adoration. He tried to remember why he had to stay distant and composed, away from this seemingly wrong situation, away from complications and everything that drove him away from his work and mission in life, but he couldn't recollect why. Everything he cared about until this moment looked distant. And the only important thin was right here, feeling so good and right and so achievable.
"The hell with it! The hell with it all!" Jimin chased away the last doubts in his brain with ease. Then he allowed Jungkook to pull him down on the bed.
"What do you want, Jungkookie," Jimin asked in a husky voice, his heart beating rapidly in his chest. "What do you want from this?"
"I want everything!" Jungkook answered and their mouths connected one more time.
*******
The following days were a bit of a challenge for Suga. He had to get used to many novelties.
Although most of the living conditions he was used to remained the same, he had to swallow a great many things.
Jungkook was still tending to his duties in the house, taking care of the garden and at the same time was taking very seriously his reading exercises. His improvement in that area made Jimin extremely proud with him and that motivated the student to learn as much and as fast as he could so he can be praised by his teacher.
And Jimin himself was occupied as always with his studies and books. Nothing out of the ordinary there. At first glance it seemed that nothing out of the ordinary happened.
But as calm and on schedule as their lives continued, things had also changed considerably.
The first and most obvious change in their usual environment was Jungkook's sleeping arrangements. He firmly refused to sleep even one more day in the room he was given. Instead he moved in Jimin's bedroom without any hesitation and stated that he was going to live there from now on. He even transferred there his few belongings and clothes. The sudden action left Yoongi speechless and staring in stupor.
The surprising move was way too much for Suga but it seemed that it didn't bother Jimin at all, quite the opposite. Jimin looked happy and pleased with the new distribution and happily greeted Jungkook's idea, even helped him relocate his things. Yoongi was only left to stare in stupor, mouth gaping and all.
The other thing that made Suga face a kind of a challenge was the change in Jimin's and Jungkook's behavior between themselves.
For example he was unwillingly bumping with annoying frequency into Jimin and Jungkook, cuddled in some corner of the house, kissing and hugging, which every time made him blush all over, mumble some indistinguishable excuse and practically run the opposite direction, completely clueless where was he going in the first place. Sadly it seemed that the mansion was not big enough for him to crawl into some distant narrow room and just stay there forever, so he had to deal with his companions instead.
The other bothersome event that occurred daily and he was trying hard to swallow was the little smiles and stares between the two. It happened constantly, at breakfast, lunch and dinner, when they were having coffee and all other times. Suga found it annoying as hell. And the worst of it all was the undoubted fact that whatever he was talking about, trying to look normal, casual and overly neutral about the whole situation, it was clear that they weren't hearing even one word he was saying.
He also fell into deep embarrassment having to witness Jungkook, pulling Jimin up the stairs, in the middle of the day, towards their bedroom, explaining that this was the exact moment when the two of them have some very important conversation to lead, or touch and caress Jimin at every convenience.
He quickly taught himself not to pass by Jimin's door when the two of them were inside. A couple of times he had the misfortune to actually stroll by at the wrong time and after that he intensely prayed that he would go deaf immediately, drown somewhere or reach some other quick and merciful death, blushing all over, hoping not to hear the occasional sounds that seeped out in the hallway ever again.
It was taking Suga some time to digest the new development in Jimin's and Jungkook's relationship and sometimes he felt almost like brain dead from the hardship his brain experienced while trying to process the information. Silly questions like: "When did that happened?" and the even the less intelligent "Whaat?" were constantly popping inside his head but he composed himself as much as possible, bit his tongue with dignity and didn't ask a thing.
But the truth was that as annoying and uncomfortable this entire situation should have been for Yoongi, somehow he didn't mind it that much. Actually when the initial surprise passed he discovered that he didn't mind it at all.
Because now, the once gloomy and depressing atmosphere inside their house, the thick aura of death and tragedy, surrounding them both for years and trying to suck the air out of their lungs, had dispersed and everything around seemed somehow brighter.
The Jimin he knew many years ago, before tragedy struck his life, before the death of his family, the once happy, smiling and joking playfully friend had returned in a flash. Often Jimin's amused laughter could be heard here and there around the mansion and his usual serious and gloomy expression could be seen less and less on his face. His eyes were shining in a way Suga had almost forgotten over the years, but now, after he saw the light and glitter back on his friend's face, he remembered with pure clarity what was it that impressed him so much about Jimin when they first met.
Yes, Jungkook's presence sure stirred things for them but in a surprisingly good way. Yoongi often saw the house they lived in as a dark, rotting graveyard, cold and unwelcoming. But now, after Jungkook came to live with them, this once unfriendly place started to change and now it had started to feel like a real home. Yes, it surely was a good thing, Jungkookie's arrival...
Suga dragged himself out of his thoughts and started to slowly limp down the stairs.
"Jungkookie!" He was yelling." I need someone to drive me to the doctor, today they will remove my leg cradle."
"You will let me drive the car again?" Jungkook popped as if out of nowhere, his face shining from excitement. "So, you like my driving after all?"
"Not even a little bit, but you have to practice under supervision, otherwise you will hurt yourself or someone else." Suga answered frowning, but there was softness in his tone. "Come, let's go."
Jungkook swiftly pulled his jacket and joined him. The exited smile never leaving his face. He surely enjoyed driving.
To be continued ...
