**Crazy Train--Ozzy Osborne**

The door slammed shut in front of Meg and Carmine. Instinctively Carmine shielded Meg with his arm. Meg gasped eyeing each of his hands. Each one held a long dagger, that seemed to appear out of thin air. Each one featured a slightly different but elegant hilt that wrapped perfectly around his hands.

Meg hurled his arm out of the way and stepped into a fighting stance with a fireball in each hand. Ashe was not about to let him have a The fun. Her thundering heart skipped a beat when a faint mist escaped her mouth. The room was becoming inordinately cold. Suspicion crested her brow, but she said nothing. This will be fun. She thought as a mischievous smile crossed her lips.

"What are your intentions with my daughter." Came a ghostly voice as the door to the hospital room latched shut. A sleeve of frost forming on the handle.

Carmine smiled. "Charles Walker, I was wondering when you would stop by." He looked around the room searching for the new arrival. "Where are you, we need to talk."

Carmine's feet left the floor, his shirt was pulled tight by an invisible force. His own tee shirt started choking him. "Go ahead, talk." invited Charlie's eerie voice.

"Dad quit it," Meg said her hand on her hip clearly annoyed. "I was handling it."

Charlie did not answer her. "I said talk." Carmine's lips were blue. He tried to speak but the air in his throat was gone, and nothing came out.

"Dad!" She shouted in annoyance. "Put him down, he cannot breath."

"I hardly see how that is a problem," Charlie said as Carmine's body crumpled to the floor. Charlie's haunting laugh echoed in the room. "Are you dense?" Carmine's body was thrown across the room. "You will never see me."

Meg felt the air around her get distinctly colder again. "Dad can you go over there, you know how I hate the cold," She said stepping away.

"So start a fire and deal with it," Charlie said annoyed. "Talk Carmine, or die. I am not as amenable to secrets as my daughter."

"You work for Elemis," Carmine said as his blatant fear trembled his words. "Elemis does more than just energy."

"Spit it out." Meg roared.

"Elemis is part of a network of corporations. Like the one you discovered two weeks ago." Carmine gestured towards Derricks comatose body. "You may remember him. You saved him."

"Saved is a strong word. I spared him."

Carmine gulped, his confidence was wavering, this was clearly his first time speaking to a ghost. "Derrick has been deep underground for a while. You killed his father. Show some respect."

"I do not respect thieves."

Carmine's fist bunched up angrily. Meg waited in silence. She wanted answers as well, and her father was clearly a more effective interrogator. Carmine stepped from the shadows. "We are not thieves, we are spies."

"What is the difference? Spies steal information while thieves steal supplies."

Carmine was trembling. Meg could not tell if it was from fear or cold but she was almost positive that he would pass out soon and regardless of which ailment was winning.

"Dad?" Was all Meg could say through her own chattering teeth. Even her own inner fire could not stave off the cold in this room. He did not answer her. The temperature in the room shot up several degrees, and the frost disappeared from the window.

She looked at Carmine's thawing form and strode over to him. She rested a hand on his shoulder and smiled as her own warmth brought back his body back to its preferred temperature. He looked at her his eyes filled with silent thanks. "You are welcome, now explain."
