The Dreams

After two months, more of the bruises and burns began to disappear off her legs and arms, almost clear now. But then other problems began to surface...

"Hello detective benson." Said Lewis as he yanked her hair and threw her off her bed "did you really believe I was gone" he laughed as he pinned her on the floor and started to force himself inside her. "No...please....I'm sorry I'm sorry...please let go...please." She cried in between his grunts and him slapping her. "No...I'm...I'm sorry!" She sobbed louder this time only for him to grab her wrists and say "LIV GET UP!"

"NO!" She screamed as she woke up in her bed. It was dark and took her time to realize that it was Elliot sitting beside her holding each of her wrists. She looked at him up and down "Liv it's me you're okay." He said as she stared him in the eyes. Oh my gosh it's not him it's Elliot. She thought as tears welled up and she fell into his arms. "I'm so sorry." She said into his chest "No, you're fine it's okay." He said reassuringly as he stroked the back of her head until she fell asleep in his arms.

"Daddy?" Came Eli's voice "what's wrong with Livvie?" He asked sounding scared "Why was she crying and screaming?" Elliot motioned for the boy to sit beside him so he wouldn't have to move Liv "Livvie was having a really bad nightmare that really scared her." "Oh." Eli said as he layed his head on her shoulder. "Cmon now lets go back to bed." But that was only the beginning.

After the dreams started, Liv decided she wanted a hair cut because her hair was a 'painful reminder'. Elliot didn't understand what she meant. When Liv was taken, Elliot had gotten a job back at svu so he could know more details about Lewis and what was happening. But still, no one told him anything. He soon went back to work and still couldn't get any information "So what did he do to her?" "Um look," Said Nick "that's probably something for her to tell you, when she's ready. Plus, we don't know everything that went on in that room either man, and I don't think I want to know." Elliot looked at him and nodded as he went back to his desk. That night, he came home late.

Liv was in their bed reading on remedies to get rid of scars, when she heard the front door open. She waited a few seconds "wouldn't Elliot have said something by now. Oh no." She whispered to herself jumping up and grabbing her gun. She heard clatter coming from the kitchen and followed. Okay, one..two..three she thought right before she jumped in and had the gun pointed to someone's chest. She looked up and saw it was just Elliot, she gasped and stood there not able to find the right words. He grabbed the gun from her and brought her into a hug. Guess I can't ask her tonight then. He thought.
