i just got in a bit of a titty fight.

so this girl, who claimed she was a professional designer, made a thread. at first, I was like "ok let mama crowey dis girls professional designs" and like literally they were gifs with words plastered across and badly editted banners. they literally looked like something id draw with my left hand.

*snaps fingers*

first off, pming her was like talking to someone who ate a dictionary and is spitting out big words. i wanted to put myself in a coma for it to stop.

like literally tho, she sounds like the type of girl who will correct you when you say "can't" with "cannot." she is literally the most soy, spoiled milk person i had ever met.

anyways, then she says shes 18 and been doing it for three years and blah blah blah.

then i whip out my argument. look how fuckin slick i am:

Well, here is where your fault lays.

I am thirteen years old and have been working with gifs and Photoshop for less than six months and if I may say, mine looks more professional.

I don't mean to say yours if horrid, it's not, but it's bad to lie.

While your gifs are just the moving picture with text on it, it shows no hint of manipulation. Most professionals would have showed some.

Me being five years younger than you, should mean you should be better (as a professional.) Before you deleted it off the thread, you said you make graphics for a living.

Your banners show some form of degree of manipulation, but they do, in no way, seem professional. In your Lana del Ray one, you could have easily just used a soft eraser to cut her out of the photo she was originally in, and used a clipping mask to mask it over the text. The manipulation is light, but is there. The graphic shows no hint of colorization. I've never seen a professional make something without blending the colors.

So, let's compare. You, a young adult, graphic designer's banner:
