🌌7:30 pm🌌

I didn't even realise when I started crying. It was obvious that I was crying. My eyes were swollen now. My face was red. A tissue box was pushed towards me.

"Take it." The dimpled guy offered.

I rubbed my face with my hands and refused.

"You gave me your jacket. Now it's my turn to give you something in return." He encouraged me to take it.

I smiled at him. A sad smile.

"You brought a genuine smile on my face. It was lost since many days. It came back due to you. That counts as enough." I put my hand over his as he was sitting beside me.

"If you're really grateful then take this tissue box."

That sly, dimpled cheek!

I took it from his hands. "Why do you even have a tissue box with you?" I asked curiously.

"Bad times can come at anytime. Gotta keep precautions." He answered, biting his lips.

Bad times. How funny that my bad times were already done but I was still not over them. They still reside in the most hideous parts of my soul. Like, when Cyclone hits you, you won't even realise. But when it goes away, it leaves everything in pieces. Broken and shattered. Beyond repair.

My optimistic outlook on life was destroyed by the cyclones which came swirling in my life, like uninvited guests. It is awe-strucking how incidents can change you as a person. What a few good memories can't do is done by something tragic and wreckable.

"Do you sing?"

I looked up at him. "No, why?"

"Your voice is really melodious. You should try singing sometimes."

I thanked him shyly. I am not good with compliments. I have got so many till now but usually I just end up feeling shy.

"We still have time. We can try it. I love singing." He said, excitedly.

I laughed at his excitement. I shrugged my shoulders as I said, "Maybe."

"You know this is the first time, I have seen someone run away from their home in daytime. Isn't that a deed reserved for night?" He asked me curiously.

I didn't know the answer to this. But all I knew was that, it was a spur in the moment kind of decision. I packed my bag. I got some money from the rewards I had received. I got a new phone and a new sim. And there, I was out on an adventure. I replied to him.

"Running away from night is just too mainstream. I run away from day."
