🌅8:45 am🌅
A few minutes later, the dimpled guy was sitting on the garden like a grumpy baby while I was busy doing a happy dance.
"I won! I won! You lose! You lose!" I kept doing silly moves. And suddenly, "Oof!" I was on the grass, with him on top of me, tickling me hard.
I said in-between laughs, "This is not fair. Leave me."
I kept punching his upper arm while he dodged every move of mine easily.
"Princess, you were quite talkative a few minutes ago, what happened now? Speak. Come on, speak." He trapped my arms above my head.
"Leave me once and I will. I won't stop for millenniums. Just leave me!" I started laughing again as he tickled me.
I didn't realise what happened but he stopped suddenly. He was staring at me. At my eyes. At my lips. Scanning my whole face.
I met his brown eyes, once again. Relishing the moment, I didn't know I could ever have again. After all, we were just mere strangers. We had different lives. Different paths. Different stories. How could I develop feelings for a guy who I met only some hours back?
His soft and warm hands came to my face. Brushing my hair, behind my ears. His fingers twirling them. Making something straight, a complicated twirl. His fingers now on my dry lips. Playing with them.
His melodious voice came out.
"How could he leave someone like you, princess?"
I whispered, playing with his hair.
"Who?"
"Evan. If I were him, I'd have never left you. I'd have shown you off in front of everyone. Telling the world that you're my girl." He replied.
For him, it was just a reply. For me, it was a goddamn rainbow in my sky.
"You don't know me, dimpled guy. You don't know the real, ugly me. I have my inner monsters. The one which are invincible. No one would want a girl with issues." I said softly.
"Everyone has their ugly side, princess. You are not alone. Diamonds are found from dark mines. Yet, they are precious. You're a diamond, Princess. A diamond. And I promise one day, someone will love you and want you for who you are, not for your price."
