Chapter 7 - I'm In Trouble

I walked slowly towards Netero-San but speeded up in an instance. Just as I was about to touch the ball, Netero-San jumped away.

"Netero-San, you're fun to play with." I said and I started chasing him again.

Nao's POV

Every time I get close to the ball, he always able to take the ball away from me. This seems much harder than I thought. I never knew there was someone as good as Feitan-nii. Hmph! I don't like it. I need to defeat him!

Hmm...then should I get a bit serious? It won't hurt right? Chrollo-nii wouldn't know anyways...but I don't want to defy him either. This is a hard choice.

I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Not paying attention? You won't ever catch me like that." Netero-san said. Is he trying to provoke me?

Showing a little bit wouldn't hurt right? I mean I already accidentally burst a bit of my power from at first so...who cares! Right now, the first thing is to defeat him!

With that thought, I immediately released a bit of Nen and focused it onto my feet to increase my speed.

"Then how about this?" I asked as I easily popped behind ready to grab the ball. But then...he disappeared...AGAIN!!

This old man is fast! Too fast for his age!

"Ho ho ho! Getting serious aren't we?" Netero-san chuckled as he was on the other side of the room. This old man...fine. Two can play at this game!

I used a bit more Nen then before and went after him. My speed caught up to him easily but the ball keeps getting away from my grasp every time I was close!

Just as I was about to continue to increase my Nen, I felt a familiar presence nearby. Coming towards this direction...

Hiso-nii..!

I stopped all actions and stopped chasing Netero-san and he stopped too seeing my actions.

"Too bad I couldn't win... I give up!" I said as I was walking towards the door.

"Eh?! Already? You were so close Nao!" Gon exclaimed from the side.

"But it's so hard to catch him!"

"Where are you going? Why don't we play a little longer?" He offered.

"But I'm never going to win anyways!" I whined. He's as good as Feitan-nii and I can't beat him unless I use my strength. But if I use it Hiso-nii will surely know.

"Then why don't you just use your full power? You're hiding it aren't you?" That made me stop in my track. I am hiding it but does he know something? About my full power? He could easily knock me out last time so why not assume that's the total amount of power I have.

"H-Ha ha ha..! What are you talking about Netero-san? I was using my full power but I still couldn't beat you." I said as tried to shake off the thought that he might know something. About me and them.

"If you say so." Netero-san said as I decided to leave the room.

I walked and turned around a corner to see Hiso-nii was there waiting for me. With a weird smile. That Machi-nee always tell me to stay away from if he has it. I'm in trouble...

"Nao-chan~ That power of yours I feel~ Ah~" Hiso-nii said in a weird voice.

"H-Hiso-nii...I'm sorry." I said avoiding eye contact. If Chrollo-nii and the others find out they'll be disappointed too.

"You know they told you not to use it. You already showed some during the cooking phase. It's dangerous to show more. They might already know." Hiso-nii lectured me.

"I know...but I couldn't help it...umm please don't tell Chrollo-nii." I plead. I don't want Chrollo-nii knowing.
