Today's task: bake cookies.
Christmas is coming, and we've got a lot of baking to do.
First: chocolate chip.
Mix the ingredients,
Talk,
Laugh,
Preheat the oven,
Eat some dough,
Put the unbaked cookies on sheets,
Into the oven to bake.
Talk,
Laugh some more.
Take them out of the oven wjen golden brown.
Sample a couple cookies,
Love how well they turned out.
Second: shortbread cookies.
Mix the ingredients,
Talk and laugh some more,
Try some dough,
Scoop the cookies onto sheets,
Into the oven to bake.
Remember: just when they're not shiny on top, and the edges are very lightly browned.
Talk and laugh and laugh and talk.
Cookies look fantastic,
Take them out of the oven,
Put on a cooling rack.
Sample a couple cookies,
Love how well they turned out.
Already close to seven at night.
Where did the time go?
That's enough baking for one day.
Wash up the dishes we used,
Dry them,
Put them away
Have another cookie,
Talk,
Laugh,
Love.
