WTS (Pilot)

Prologue

In a world where mythical creatures once roamed the planet their is a pure energy that all posses but cannot utilize. Soul power. It allows humans to attain the power of the beasts of the past and present, elemental powers, and other inhuman abilities. Not on their own accord and not for no good reason of course. Humans attain this power through selfless acts in life without knowledge of this power. Only humans with a good soul and a strong will can be chosen. 

People have been chosen for thousands of years and generations. But you may be asking "Why are they chosen? What is so special about these Chosen Ones?" Well the answer is simple. They were chosen to fight, chosen to be the world's defenders. They are what keeps the world in one piece. Now your sitting there thinking "What's attacking? What are they defending against?". That, is an answer that isn't as simple.

There are other worldly beings that have been called "Essers" that attack and terrorize the earth and it's inhabitants. They're this realm's demons and they are created by evil acts of conscious creatures, humans. They can't be seen, unless they present themselves, but they can very well be felt. They are the cause of everything bad, the definition of evil in the world and people who fall victim to the attacks of the creatures are turned into one themselves. 

The chosen ones or better known as "Soul Knights" have been what keeps these monsters in small numbers but in this recent era where humans are becoming more devious and corrupt, the knights numbers have drastically been taken down by the rapid and spontaneous growth in population and power of the Essers. There are very few knights left but there are still worthy people in this land of evil and may well be taken into the ranks of the Knights.

To answer the last question you may be thinking which might be "Who or what commands the Knights and Essers?". The answer is yes they both have a leader. The knights' leader's name is Covidian, a "God" that has been combating the Essers for as long as they have been around. The Essers boss or god is unknown but some have control over others and actually use strategic maneuvers and attacks, so it has been assumed that they must have some form of leadership and have basic intelligence. Not just mindless masses of evil. 

Besides all that, the world is being torn apart by these monsters, the Knights are losing the fight, and there appears to be no hope left. But in spite of all the chaos a new generation of new powerful souls have been chosen to join the knights. This group may have the power to change the fate of the world.

Okay i know this is a bit short and doesn't have too much detail but as this goes on you will not be short of information. I wanted to get just a little something out for this. No clue when the 1st chapter will be posted but it won't be too long. This isn't a fanfic and its the first thing i've ever wrote so yea lets see how this goes.
