Chapter 8- Breached

as the group of five faced the Essers, some being known by the knights, the Soul Realm was being destroyed and knights were doing their absolute best to defend it with the few numbers they have. Servants were fleeing, the mysterious wildlife had been disturbed and the battles raged on.

Kai slams his hands together, making the gauntlets spark and sound off. Akemi drew her daggers and stood against the lanky Esser before her. Zetsuba didn't do much beside getting in his fighting stance. Shino let out a low growl, like a great wolf and held his large bowie knives ready. Murata nonchalantly drew the large spear he described before and spun it , letting the helmet of his armor close on his face.

"Bring it punks" shouted Kai as the 3 essers that were once his enemies on earth rushed him with incredible speed leaving an afterimage, kai leaving one as well. The other knights of this group began doing battle as well sending sparks and blasts of sound and wind from their strikes.

"Hehe, I've been dying to fight you evil sons of bitches since I died, I'll kill all of you!" shouted Shino as he broke through the bulky Esser's guard then slashing its torso several times over. Once the monster was vanquished it burst into a mist. "I'm done, I'll go and help where I can!"

"I am done as well, allow me to accompany you." said Zetsuba as he was standing in his armor and his chain whip drawn. Shino nods and the two take off to fight more of the beings that are all seemingly drawn to the castle.

"ReX, gO fOr thE tWo thAt rAn!"said Luther. He appears to still lead this trio, even after becoming monsters.

Rex then follows his orders and pursues the duo, only to be stopped by Murata who had his Esser skewered on his spear. He slams the bottom of the spear on the ground and the aforementioned esser turns into mist.

"Long time no see Rex, think ya can still beat me?" asked Murata as he spun his spear as it now had two blades, one on each end.

The creature once known as Rex lets out a few aggravated clicks and hisses, like the average Esser. It rushed Murata drawing something that was similar to the weapon Murata was wielding.

"Your that other punk that used to always be by that loser and his girl" said rex as he slammed his spear onto Murata's, causing a small crater to appear underneath him.

"So you can talk normally huh? Oh well, I'm gonna erase you like the one before" said Murata as he threw Rex off and kicked him in the gut, causing him to fly back and through a boulder.

Akemi vanquished her Esser and began to run towards Murata. She then remembered Rorinaka had crashed landed and went to check on him as Kai continued fighting the corrupted Luther and Jerry.

cough "Some help I was...cough" said Rorinaka as he saw Akemi approaching him.

"Hey, you okay? Can you stand?" questioned the small knight.

"Yea, I'm fine. Go and fight. We need all the help we can get, the Essers have broken into our realm somehow..." said Rorinaka as he stood up and re-summoned his armor and weapon, which seemed to be a mechanized lance.

"I've already vanquished one of the creatures, as have almost all the other members of my team. The only one who is still fighting is Tenkai the Hell Dragon." she explained

"With the power he showed earlier he shouldn't have any real problems...he didn't unlock his element yet so that may be an issue...but his sheer strength is enough to defeat a lith or even a meso Esser..." said Rorinaka as he looked at where Kai was fighting. With him being a veteran he could actually see the fight, which was happening mid-air.
