"SHIT!!" screamed the lean male.
As they were driving, a car shot out of it's lane and directly at them. Thanks to Tenkai's quick reaction he was able to dodge the vehicle without sustaining any damage that wasn't mental.
*phew* " You alright Gabby?"
She was sitting in her seat with her face covered and appeared to be shivering, she had been scared stiff by Tenkai's loud scream and what had just occurred. Something not normally seen by the hot-blooded girl.
"Yo....Gabby. You good?" he asked in a worried tone. "We can go back home if ya want"
"No, no its fine...just got a little shook that's all" she says with an assuring smile.
"You're one tough cookie aren't ya? But did you see what I saw?" he asked.
"What exactly did you see? I just saw my life flash before my eyes." she says in a joking tone.
"I....uhh...me too..." he says with an unsure voice as he continues driving.
-skip to the party-
"Good thing we left when we did otherwise we'd have been super late" she says as she acts like a child ready to go to an arcade or something . She quickly unfastens her seatbelt and opens her door, before getting out she looks back to see Tenkai staring off. "Ummm Kai? You okay?"
"Huh- Oh yea yea I'm fine I was just thinking about some stuff" he replies gently
"Well c'mon! Lets go ya big lug!" she says as she hops out watching others enter the absolutely massive house. One that neither Kai or Gabby had seen before.
"Well this "lug" doesn't even wanna be here so chill out." he says as he gets out of the car and stretches. *sigh* "Lets get this over with"
"Awwww don't say it like that. Its gonna be fun! I promise!" she says as she's now leading the unamused teen into the house.
"For you. You forget that the vast majority of these people don't know me, and the ones who do know me because of you." he says as she stops and turns to him.
"So what? We can have fun anyways. Just me , you, and a bit of alcohol." she says as she smiles warmly at him.
"I don't see how you even drink that stuff. It tastes like bleach" he says in an almost disgusted tone.
"Its not about the taste its about the feeling" she says as they enter the house and slide through a large crowd of people. It seems to be a typical rave party, alcohol, drugs and inappropriately dressed people. They walk over to the table where the drinks are and Gabby grabs two cups handing one to Tenkai. "Drink"
"No. I have to drive remember?" he says as she presses it against him.
"Pleeeaasseee? We can get an Uber or something." she says in the same begging voice that got him here in the first place.
"I ain't drinking that Gabby. I can't get--" Tenkai stops as he sees the three guys he fought earlier that day, only difference is, their wounds have seemed to heal and he feels a weird energy eluding from the trio.
"Hm? What's the matter Kai?" she asks concerned.
"The 3 idiots are here" he says annoyed.
"The 3 idi--OH! You mean the ones you beat up? Where?"
Tenkai points in their direction while not losing focus on them. The reason he's so focused on them is because they always cause problems and no one appears to be able to stop them. The "leader" of the group is supposedly the best fighter and strongest male on campus. This was proven false by Tenkai.
