Traveling to Places that Once Were

I'm traveling alone

ALong this long dark road

Ahead I see the crossroads

Leading to places I've been before

A place with many fond memories

A destination filled with darkness

The people there, I know

I've been with them before

And even though they've hurt me

Everyday I miss them more

I'm coming to this crossroads

But my decision has yet to be made

That place held so much happiness

So many good times

So much love

A storm came through my town

Destroying everything that I'd built

Now looking at the ruins

I wonder if I want that back

to rebuild what once was

Somethings were meant to stay in the past

The only question I ask,

Would I want to rebuild a town

in a zone as disastrous as that?

Are the good times enough

for all the pain caused by storms?
