Ruby, she was made for goin' west, did not protest my wanderin' ways
"Let's hit the road, boys!" Avril announced as we arrived outside to find our tour buses parked in front of the hotel. "Matt, Charlie, I'll let you two lovebirds share Bus B if y'all know what I mean, Evan, Jesse we got A."
"Ew, what the hell, Avril? Me and Charlie would be like you and Evan. Never gonna happen!" She brushed off the remark while I stayed silent, unappreciative of the "never gonna happen" for me and Avril.Ruby, she was pretty as they come, eighteen years young and unafraid
"Evan, hurry up! It's starting to rain," she yelled from the door.
"It's alright, I'll bunk with Matt and Charlie. I'll let you and Jesse be." I waved before I started to head the other direction.
"Evan, please c'mon!"
"Girl we gotta get going," the driver said.
"Evan, please just get in I really want you with us."She gave me shelter on the coldest nights, shaded me on summer days
"Fine." I said and stepped into the bus.
"Thanks," she said, wrapping her arms around me in a loose hug before running over to window to watch as the light rain became a heavy downpour.And I had never known my place before, but thats what Ruby soon became
