After many years, the people became aware that the gifted males can gave birth to beautiful children and the females can be warriors but not all peopke will become a 'gifted being' so, the  people kidnapped many gifted males and raped them non-stop to have beautiful children and the gifted females were abducted and being force to be slaves. The crime rate continued to rise but the population rate decreases because of famine. The emperor soon  became aware of this and decided the the gifted males should be married off once they reached their marriageable age to be matchmake while the gifted females will be sent to army.

The balance returned and the empire became peaceful.

But this peaceful time was broken because of the fight of the throne and a beautiful gifted man who was named Li Yan.

He was loved by the crowned prince, Ling Xiao and adored by the second prince, Ling Zhen and also lusted by the emperor.

He was a Mary Sue character but Li Yun shipped him the most with Ling Xiao.

Ling Xiao was a very brave general and he was also the crowned prince. All man fails comparison to him whether it was male or female. He was much handsome than his lecherous Father emperor and much heroic than his second imperial brother.  He was also loyal and kind- which the readers greatly hope for their own boyfriends, and to show it, he even let Li Yan's brother, Li Yun, which was fourteen that time,  be under his wing to become a soldier because of his request.

Under Ling Xiao's guidance, Li Yun became a talented soldier. He managed to master the art of archery despite his lean figure. It was very evident because every arrow his bow released, his target will never be able to leave the scene unharmed. Li Yun's been under Ling Xiao for two years and on his sixteenth birthday, while on a bath, he found out that he, himself was also a gifted male because of the unnoticeable little lotus mark in his pale wrist. As days gone by, it become redder than his brother's and it showed that he will gave birth more beautiful and lively children because the redder the mark is, the more fertile he was!

For many years, Li Yun secretly loved Ling Xiao but Ling Xiao loved his brother. Once he found out that he was more fertile than his brother, he felt confident that he will now have a chance to be with the man but , Ling Xiao only treated him as a comrade and only a futurebrother- in-law because Ling Xiao will marry his brother so he hid the mark with a piece of cloth by rolling it on his wrist an acted like it didn't existed.

Li Yan loved Ling Xiao but he realized that he loved Ling Zhen more. He had secret tyrsts with him and later got pregnant. Ling Xiao ascended the throne and became the emperor and he made Li Yan as his empress.

Afterwards, Li Yan found out Ling Xiao killed Ling Zhen because of the struggle for the throne.He planned his revenge for his lover and it was successful. He still became the empress because she was pregnant  of the emperor's child.The empire didn't know the fact  that it was Ling Zhen's child from their affair. Later on, he found out Ling Zhen was still alive. He was sad,  because they missed many years of not being together and happy, because he found the father of his child alive. He didn't even bother the news about his little brother's dissapperance many years ago and now, the body being found in the imperial garden's pond.

Soon, Ling Zhen and Li Yan happily married with grand wedding ceremony just after Ling Zhen's anscesion. Li Yan later gave birth and this made Ling Zhen angry but he confessed that it was Ling Zhen's and not Ling Xiao's which made the new emperor happy.

They live happily until their old age. Their son, Ling Hao, later became the emperor and the empire strive for many years...
