I have no idea what to say before this chapter starts. Enjoy if you can.
K.O. showed his new friends around the store. They thought it wasn't too bad. K.O. told them that every once in a while, Lord Boxman would send one of his robots to attack the plaza. He even mention that him and his friends would always win against Lord Boxman's robots.
"Oh, I almost forgot to mention this, whenever you do something heroic you get to have your own pow card." K.O. said with a little bit of joy in his voice. "Hmm, funny you mentioned that because lets just say that me and my sister, have our own pow cards." Carmen said as she pulled out her pow card. K.O. gasped in amazement at this sight.
"A level 10!" K.O. exclaimed. "Yeah and even my sister is the same level as me." Carmen said pointing to her sister. "That's amazing. It is such an honor to be in front of 2 strong and powerful heroes." K.O. said in a joyful manner.
"I need to go wash my face real quick," Carmen said getting up. "Um, suppose you know where the bathroom is, right K.O.?" she asked while walking to leave but stopped right in front of the door. " oh, the bathroom is near the end at the right side of the store." K.O. explained. "Thank you." Carmen said before walking out the door.
There was a moment of silence until K.O. tried to start up a conversation with Carmen's sister. "So, do you collect pow cards?" K.O. asked nervously while rubbing his arm. "You collect pow cards?" Cassandra asked with excitement starting to show in her voice. That certainly caught her attention.
"Y-yeah! I can show you my pow card collection sometime." K.O. said joyfully. "K.O, I have SO many pow cards in my collection that its not even funny." Cassandra stated. "Um, I - I hope you don't mind me asking this, but you said that your friends went through the same thing that my friends are supposedly going through. What happened?" K.O. asked, stuttering and trying not to get her nor mad or upset.
Cassandra was silent for a moment. "That's personal." she said, not even looking at K.O. "Oh, I'm sorry I asked." K.O. said sorrowfully, looking down at the ground.
"I'm sorry if I upset you, K.O. It's just that..." she said but trailed off. "It just feels, all too familiar to me." Cassandra said, finishing what she said. "You didn't upset me, I was just-" K.O. said reassuringly but was cut off by Cassandra's words. "You were just curious, I know that." she said, finishing what the young child was about to say.
Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door and Cassandra assumed it was her sister. And to their surprise, it was Carmen. "Ok K.O, me and my sister have been working on this plan for about 2 weeks now and I believe we know what they have your friends for." Carmen explained gesturing to K.O.
"You say you know what happened to Enid and Rad but you won't tell me." K.O. said with annoyance. "We'll tell you later,K.O." Carmen stated with an annoyed tone.
"You say that but then you don't tell me."K.O. said, almost yelling at his new friend.
"Hey!" Cassandra yelled. That shut the young child and her sister up.
"Listen, we don't have much time. So Carmen, lay down the plan and we can save K.O's friends faster." Cassandra stated glaring at her sister.
Carmen took a deep breath, and exhaled to try to calm down. "Alright, the plan is that we leave the plaza after K.O's shift is over and go to the place where they're keeping your friends." Carmen explained.
"Ok, I have to hurry and get back to work before Mr.Gar catches me slacking off." K.O. said worryingly while standing up and walking to the door.
When suddenly, the alarm sounded. This meant that Lord Bowman was sending one of his robots. Everyone ran outside and the box landed in parking lot in front of the Bodega.
When the box opened, it revealed Darell with an evil grin on his face, ready to destroy the plaza.
