"Jordyn, Will, Maya!" Danielle cried, running towards them, "I thought you'd never make it."

"Me neither, not with Jordyn almost dying on the way here," Maya scoffed.

"Dying? What?" Danielle's eyes flickered between each of the three.

"Did Joe not tell you? She choked on the way here," Maya explained.

"But I'm fine now, lets go and have–" Jordyn started.

"And I think it's because she got this creepy card that said she'd die but everyone thinks it's a coincidence," Maya rambled on.

"Maya, stop," Jordyn laughed, "I'll be fine, honestly!"

"Fine!" Maya frowned as they began to walk towards the bonfire.

The warm smell of fire covered the air and the crackles of the flames could barely be heard over the many people talking and the music being blasted.

"You want a drink, Jord?" Will offered her.

"Uh, yeah, just a coke though, please," Jordan smiled.

"No alcohol? Not like you," Will sniggered.

"I'm being careful tonight, remember?" Jordyn giggled.

"Right, right, I remember," Will let out a laugh before walking away from her to get the drinks.

She sat by the fire on one of the logs where no one was sat, everyone around her was dancing but she wasn't sure if doing what she wanted was the right thing. Would it be too dangerous? Should she risk it all?

The warm air from the fire wrapped around her like a blanket. All seemed fine. People were enjoying themselves. Nothing bad seemed as if it was to happen. Maybe the card was just a big scam and the fact that she choked was just a coincidence.

"Why don't you dance, Jord? You look upset!" Tom pondered over, he reached down and pulled her up by her hands and began to dance with her, her hand in his.

"I best not," Jordyn replied uncomfortably, she glanced around to make sure that nothing was to happen, "okay, maybe just for a little while."

"Good!" Tom exclaimed, "I love this song, come on!"

Tom lead her even closer to the fire, dancing and making small conversation with other people.

A game of volleyball was going on besides the fire and the music seemed to get louder.

Tom sang along to the song, as did everyone else who was there, and Jordyn danced awkwardly besides him. She didn't want to do anything too crazy, just to be careful.

"Heads!" A loud, deep voice from besides the fire called. Before they knew it a volleyball came towards Jordyn at full speed. She stumbled back a little, trying to keep her balance.

"Woah!" Will spotted her and shoved the drinks in Tom's hand. He threw his arms out to the side of Jordyn and held onto her tightly before she could have fell onto the fire.

Jordyn's breathing was heavy and she began to shake a little. "Will, this is getting out of hand."

Will pulled her away from the fire, retrieved the drinks from Tom and sat her down safely at a log, "what were you doing dancing anyway?"

"Are you seriously asking me that, Will?" Jordyn frowned, taking the drink from him and taking a small sip, "Tom asked me to dance with him and... I said yes."

"I think you should go home, Jordyn," Will sat beside her and put an arm around her waist.

"It's fine," Jordyn quickly spluttered, "I'll be careful, Will, I don't want to miss this."

"But Jordyn I can't baby you the whole night, you know that right?" Will laughed, clearly messing with her.

"I know that, you can have fun, don't worry," Jordyn rested her head on his shoulder, "I'll stay away from the fire and not accept any food from strangers."

"Or drinks, either," Will added, "you sure you're going to be okay?"

"Positive," Jordyn said, but that was a lie. She wasn't positive about her being okay at all, in fact, she thought the complete opposite. She didn't want to look weak by going home, that wasn't on her to-do-list for the night.

"Stay safe, then," Will stood up and took a gulp of his drink, "I'll be around, if it's urgent, give me a call."

"I will," Jordyn smiled at him and stood up with him.

"Good," Will wrapped his arms firmly around Jordyn and gave her a quick kiss before disappearing into the crowd.

Leaving her alone.
