"Yep! And he told me he loved me this morning," Jordyn gossiped down the phone to Maya.
"He did? Oh my god," Maya squealed, "are you guys not a thing yet?"
"Nope," Jordyn frowned, she lay on her front on her bed in her empty apartment, flicking through the channels.
"As if!" Maya laughed, "that's something I'd like to see happen!"
"Me too!" Tom shouted, he was busy doing his makeup in the mirror across from where Maya was sat.
"Me too! I mean, what?" Jordyn blushed.
"Ah!" Maya screamed, "so you want to be with him too?"
"Too? What do you mean 'too'?"
"You don't know? Literally everyone knows Will's got a little bit of a thing for you," Maya scoffed, thinking that this was not new information to Jordyn, "he says a little bit of a thing, but we all know it's more than that."
"I didn't know that," Jordyn's heart melted, "I best had be going. I've got stuff to do tomorrow, and I need to catch up with Tanya, I'll see you later, Maya."
"Bye, Jord!" Maya said, Tom repeating it after her as well before Jordyn ended the call.
Will had a bit of a thing for her? How cute, she thought.
"Best had call Tanya then," Jordyn mumbled before finding Tanya's number in her contact list and calling her.
It dialled before saying, "hi, Tanya here! Sorry I can't take your call right now, I'll phone you back as soon as I see this, bye!"
Straight to Tanya's answerphone.
That's strange? Jordyn thought to herself, Tanya's been trying to catch up for a while and the one time I'm not busy she can't take my call?
She phoned her one more time, just to try again, this time Tanya answering the phone.
"Tanya!" Jordyn happily shouted down the phone, "it's like we've not talked in months!"
"No wonder, you've not bothered for a while," Tanya laughed down the phone, "it's like you forgot about me, Jord?"
"How could I forget about you, Tan? I've missed you so much, when are you coming back?"
"Tomorrow, I can't wait to show you what I've bought you, I think you're gonna love it," Tanya squealed.
"So, what've you been doing there, then?" Jordyn.
Tanya held her phone between her shoulder and her ear as she continued folding clothes and putting them into her suitcase, "visited my cousins remember, and oh my have I got to tell you about this boy."
Jordyn smiled, "go on then, what's he called?"
"He's called Jacob, he's so dreamy! He has brown hair and grey eyes, I got his number!" Tanya giggled, she got excited like a kid in a candy shop.
"That's great, you'll never guess who told me they love me."
"Oh my god, it's not who I think it is, is it?" Tanya put the phone back in her hand and smiled at the ground.
"'Maybe," Jordyn said excitedly, "guess!"
"Jordyn, if it's William then I'm going to be so mad with you," Tanya frowned, hiding her smile.
"Mad with me? Why?"
"I'm joking, Jord, he really said that? I'm so happy for you!" a smile pulled at the corner of Tanya's lips, "anyway, I best had get going, I'll see you later."
"Bye Tanya," Jordyn smiled as she ended the phone call, immediately getting a notification on her phone after the call.

Jordyn glanced at the time on her phone before typing a quick reply, it already being 2:47pm.

Jordyn's heart raced. What can I wear? She thought to herself before smiling again and putting her phone on the table.
