"So, our date?" William raised an eyebrow at Jordyn while she slipped the ring onto her left ring finger.
"Yes, our date," Jordyn smiled, examining the beauty of the ring he had just given her.
"I know it's last minute, but I want you to stay at mine for the weekend," he lied, "have you packed anything?"
Not lying about him wanting to stay at his for the weekend, but instead having something better in mind, as the date wasn't as close as she thought it was.
"I thought you'd ask me that," Jordyn laughed, "is it weird that I already packed just incase?"
Will laughed, "is it weirder that I brought the clothes that had been left at my house incase you didn't pack your stuff?"
"That definitely tops it," Jordyn giggled before grabbing her purse, phone and keys before stepping out of her apartment, locking the door behind her and following William into the lift of her apartment.
"Where are we actually going?" Jordyn asked, glancing at Will in the mirrors of the lift.
"You'll see," a smile crept up onto the corners of his lips as the door to the lift opened once again.
Jordyn, as usual, sat in the seat next to the driver and immediately plugged in her phone while Will joined her in the seat next to her and clipped in his seatbelt.
The beach. Yep. William really did go to that extent. All the way down in Brighton.
"This is taking really long Will, where even are we?" Jordyn looked around at an unfamiliar place.
"It's literally around the corner."
"Is this the beach?" Jordyn rolled her window down, "I can see the sea, William! What are we doing here?"
"It's a date, right? And on dates I can take you anywhere," Will looked at Jordyn as she almost had her full head out the window. Will pulled up to the a car park close to the beach and hopped out quickly, running round and opening the door for Jordyn.
"Not exactly dressed for it, are we?" She giggled to herself, "I hope you brought those sliders I left at your house, William, there's no way I'm getting these Louboutins on this sand."
"Course I did," Will opened the boot of his car and dropped the sliders she requested on the floor for her, watching her take off her heels, put the sliders on and then popping the heels into the boot of his car.
He took the suit of his jacket off and threw it into the back of his car before closing and locking it.
"Follow me," Will slipped his hand into Jordyn's and lead her down the steps of the beach.
Unusual lanterns lit up the pathway and lead to a blanket that had been set on the beach. Surrounding the blanket was the same lanterns, and on the blanket was a couple of cushions, strawberries, chocolate and white wine - the only alcoholic beverage Jordyn would actually drink.
"Will!" Jordyn gasped, "how did you even?" Before they even reached the sand Jordyn pulled Will into a kiss, "you're more romantic than I thought you would be?"
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Will laughed before following her to the blanket.
