The night after the test

*ring ring. I jump out the class. Just after the bell rang , and I get dressed to leave. I wrap my scarf covering my face and start the long walk to my favorite katsudon shop. After using my powers so much today I finally am getting the backlash. Most people say if the backlash doesn't cause physical irritation that means your lucky but then there is someone like me. Using my quirk causes my adorableness factor, as quoted by my mum (r.i.p Inko) to skyrocket past the appropriate levels of cuteness in the world. Did I believe a thing she said. Probably not, but boy was it true. I remember when it first happened in kindergarten before mum took me out of school. That whole day went really strange for me at the time. All the girls in class where giggling and blushing when I looked at them and the boys were just staring at me. One word to describe that day was awkward. Especially when my teacher hugged me a lot. After a while I realized that it was the affect of my quirk. But I didn't realize until after my teacher tried to kidnap me.

Another incident was when my mum and I went to the park and some old ladies tried to take me. My mum was so not happy and that's when she decided to take me out of school.

When I finally got to the shop I went to order some katsudon. Ten minutes later I hear my name being called. The cashier's face lit up as recognition crossed her eyes. "Y Y Y You're that famous teen singer on the internet, the Emerald Muse". "Huh " was my answer to her claim. Her eyes widened again as she looked at me more intensely. Her cheeks grew red in color as she studied me. " DON"T YOU KNOW HOW FAMOUS YOU ARE !! You sang 'Unravel' so beautifully that you brought so many people to tears. Your voice is so full of emotions" she gushed. I blushed then thanked her for the praise, picking up my katsudon and going home.

I open the door to our two bedroom apartment. Dad is standing on the other end looking as frail as ever with a grim look on his face."Izuku " started Yagi Toshinori, my father since after my mum died, I sigh. "What is this video I hear about of you on the internet" he says in his low tough voice that sounds really funny. I suppress a laugh and explain about the situation in the grocery store. Then I explain what happened in the katsudon shop. I put the bag on the counter in the kitchen and walk to the couch. I grab the laptop and open it up. Dad sits next to me and I google green haired teen singing Unravel. 467,000 results are shown. I click on the video and two girls are shown. One tall with long purple hair, the other extremely short that looks slightly like a dog. They talk for like a minute about themselves and then they say something about that day. After another minute passes by, they start talking about a cute green haired boy who had the voice of an angel. The video plays and you can clearly hear my singing and watch my hips sway. I have to kind of admit my singing was nice and I swayed to the beat. That's when I stop and turn and they caught my face. I turn back around grabbed my cereal but I keep singing. That is when the chorus hits and my voice swells with more emotion. I feel myself blush even more than earlier and I turn to my dad. His eyes are wet and I can see pride. He hugs me and we talk about pursuing a small singing career on the side of my hero work. As we talk, I pause and ask how he knew I got into UA. Dad smiles and says that he just had a feeling .

The next day I run to school, my face glowing from the after shocks of my quirk. I walk into the class and all voices stop talking. Uraraka walks up to me and poses the question, "Are you the Emerald Muse ?" 'Huh !?'
