A/n: Its a bad day.
It wasn't like Changkyun's plan when he woke up that morning was to kill someone, get blood on his clothes, stuff a dead guy in their trunk, run into Jooheon at the store, and stab a needle into the guy. Honestly, that wasn't the plan at all. If you told him he would be sitting in the passanger seat staring with wide eyes at the driver, who has his head on the steering wheel, he would have called you crazy. Regardless, that was the exact situation he was in. Hyungwon was waiting in another car for him, maybe 100 feet away, with a dead guy in the trunk and a disappointed frown. Meanwhile, Changkyun himself was staring at a near lifeless body next to him. Jooheon's head was slumped against the steering wheel, his arms dangling at his sides.
Changkyun slowly pulled out the needle from Jooheon's vein in his arm and tossed the used item on the floor.
The issue with Jooheon being awake was that, according to Hyungwon, he was a threat. He could tell the police at anytime, and Changkyun didn't trust him not to, despite the fact he seemed too attached to the younger. Changkyun knew that once Jooheon clearly understood to leave him alone, it would make his life easier.
According to Hyungwon, I've got three hours before he wakes up.
He took another glance at lifeless Jooheon before carefully lifting the other's head to rest it against the back of the seat. Jooheon looked...dead. Changkyun silently prayed that Hyungwon didn't lie to him about the contents of the syringe. Pushing the thought to the side, he tried to settle down and pull out his phone to call Hyungwon.
"Hyungwon, I fucked up."
"Where are you?"
Minutes later, he was met by Hyungwon throwing the passenger door open. He forced himself into the seat with Changkyun and closed the door.
"You killed pretty boy?" Hyungwon rubbed his temples as he spoke with an annoyed tone.
"No!" Changkyun defended. "I just used the syringe you gave me."
Hyungwon slammed his head against the window and ran a hand through his newly dyed black hair. In another world, Changkyun thought he could fall in love with the male.
"Changkyun, did you even listen to me when I said what's in there?"
The younger pouted. "You said it just knocked him out."
"No, I said it's something I made personally to put someone in a coma for a three days. I said to bring it in case something happened and you could pretend you were trying to save my life. I never said to use it on someone besides me! I haven't even tested it on a person. It's been used on your parents' dog."
Changkyun's eyes widened as he turned to look at Jooheon.
He's sleeping. I didn't kill him. He's fine.
Hyungwon sighed in annoyance. "Which car do you want to drive back to the cleaning house? The one with the dead guy or the semi-dead guy?"
Changkyun for once was thankful they had both an apartment to live in and a house to discard evidence in. The house was an hour away, but still convenient enough not to draw suspicion. It was where they occationally sleep, but it was mostly used for burning their clothes or any other evidence.
"Semi-dead guy. Put Jooheon in the back?"
Changkyun and Hyungwon struggled, but they managed to throw Jooheon in the backseat. When Hyungwon left to his own car, Changkyun turned around to get a final glance.
He let out the breath he was holding when he saw Jooheon's chest moving up and down. Still, he looked awkward lying on his back. To avoid further suspicion and ease his guilt, he sat the elder up and buckled him in. He rested Jooheon's head against the window. Changkyun really just wanted to crawl in his lap and cry, but he turned forward and placed his hands on the steering wheel. He couldn't feel anything the entire drive to the cleaning house.
When he reached the house, Changkyun found himself almosy slipping back into I.M. He wasn't really surprised because all things considered, part of him slipped into I.M. when he was just terrified and didn't want to be Changkyun anymore. And in that moment, he didn't want to be Changkyun.
Regardless, he parked the car and turned it off to immediately pull his knees to his chest and sob. He was never actually supposed to hurt Jooheon.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Both Changkyun and I.M are terrible.
He wasn't even sure what to do since Hyungwon had the keys, so he climbed in the back with Jooheon. He whimpered softly and pulled the other's lifeless arm over his shoulders. Thankfully, Jooheon was warm, so Changkyun just told himself that he was just taking a nap. He pressed himself further against Jooheon and cried quietly.
In a fairytale world, Jooheon would wake up that instant, tell Changkyun he still loves him, and they'd get married. Changkyun wanted to live in that world. His hopes did nothing because Jooheon doesn't even move.
When Hyungwon opened the car door, he didn't expect to see Changkyun straddling Jooheon and crying against his neck. Hyungwon let out a sigh and gently rubbed Changkyun's back.
"You were just scared and worrying about us. He'll be okay, I hope," Hyungwon attempted to comfort him. "And anyways, this is weird. He isn't conscious right now, but you're sitting in the man's lap, crying. Give him some peace and quiet, and explain what your plan was if you were going to keep him unconcious for three hours."
Changkyun shook his head and tightened his grip around Jooheon's neck. "I was going to just bring him to the house and I didn't know what to do from there. I don't know, I wasn't thinking. He just makes everything more complicated and-"
"Kyun," Hyungwon spoke in the nicest voice possible to keep Changkyun from slipping. He takes a deep breath before speaking. "Kyun, calm down. I'll go bury the dead guy, you go burn your clothes and then get Jooheon inside." He reached out and gently stroked Changkyun's hair to calm him.
Changkyun was freaking out. The seriousness of the situation just set in, and he didn't know what he was supposed to do. He was panicking, and that's how he ended up in Jooheon's lap. He imagined Jooheon's arms around him while he tried to comfort the younger.
He did exactly as Hyungwon said. He burned his entire outfit, put new clothes on, and struggled to get Jooheon inside. He harshly threw him on the couch out of pure exhaustion before shutting the house door.
The cleaning house was far from ideal. The hest thing about it was probably the specific room to burn clothes in. It was simple, just a metal box in the shape of a trashcan. They had to throw the clothes in there, cover them in gasoline, and then light a match to put in it. They were always quick about putting the lid on it to ensure the fire wouldn't spread. The box got hot, but so far it didn't melt.
The rest of the house was normal, minus the basement. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. The basement was the odd part. It took a few weeks, but the basement was designed to lock someone up. There was a small bathroom down there (it took forever to install, really, especially since Hyungwon wanted to do it himself) along with a small bed. It wasn't a big basement, just enough so if they had issues they could lock someone up. Mostly, the basement was currently used to plan their outfits to kill in, setting up cameras, and planning.
Changkyun also appreciated it was the only time he didn't have to share a bed with Hyungwon. He knew eventually his bedroom would have to be converted into the new workspace since they can't use the basement forever, but he loved it while he could.
What the hell am I supposed to do with an unconscious cute guy?
Changkyun did exactly what any (in)sane person would do. He dragged Jooheon down the stairs into the basement and placed him on the bed.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
He softly repeated the phrase over and over as he pulled the blanket over the body.
Please don't be dead.
Changkyun climbed into the bed, lying with his back against Jooheon's chest and forcing the lifeless arm around his waist. A tear slips down his cheek.
You're the only person who I've ever loved, and now you might be gone.
A/n: I updated. I hope you enjoyed Changkyun being a complete creep :')
