Chapter 14

Stella’s POV

7 days had passed; Skyler and I sparred and Jenna had gone to his father’s business trips. After a few spars I had with Skyler, I found no weaknesses in his moves, everything were flawless. Skyler kept telling me about my weakness that I was too aggressive and less in defense. His time in VCS was amazing! It was 59 seconds earlier than mine that meant he defeated all his enemies in 45 seconds (00:00:45.34) and what amazed me even more was that his enemies were at level 10. I confirmed that I could never beat this man. If I fought against him I wouldn’t be called the unbeatable goddess anymore

When Jenna left 4 days ago in the morning, I was planning on sleeping at her room 4 nights ago but unfortunately she locked her room

“Hey Stel, let’s go” Skyler said as he waited for me outside the homedorm. I was currently putting my 3 inched heels. We were going to the room where all the 3rd year students who passed the qualification round would be there. The headmaster and the teachers would be there also to explain the rules and procedures.

“Okay let’s go” I said as I closed the door behind me, it automatically locked. I jogged towards Skyler

He looked at me from head to toe and gone back up “Even if you wear 6 inched heels, you still won’t be able to reach my height” He said and gave me a smirked

“Shut up!” I grumbled. We walked into the hallway and entered in the room as big as the basketball gym. I could see the alfamic 10 sitting in the front row

“I’ll be sitting there” I said, pointing at the row of the alfamic 10 “Good luck finding an empty seat” I said sarcastically. He snorted and looked a little annoyed. I chuckled a little and went towards the alfamic 10. Our seats were based on our ranking so I sat on the seat no.1 next to Victoria. All the alfamic 10 were there except for Jenna, James and Eric so their seats were vacant.

Our seats were like these:

Seat No.2- Victoria

Seat No.3- Vacant

Seat No.4- Vacant

Seat No.5- Mark

Seat No.6- Vacant

Seat No.7- Dave

Seat No.8- Lucy

Seat No.9- Bailey

Seat No.10- Luke

“Where’s Jenna?” Victoria asked after she talked to Mark

“She’s on a business trip” I said

“Then who’s going to be your partner?” She asked

Before Jenna left, I was already thinking about it. I decided to choose Skyler because: 1) I already had an experience being paired with him. 2) I was sure he wouldn’t have a partner. 3) I was used to being with him all the time. I asked him about that 3 days ago and he agreed. I told Skyler that we didn’t need to go to the qualification round because I won that tour-game last semester so I was exempted and also my partner.

“Skyler” I said

Victoria’s face was so utterly shocked “Are you serious, Stella?” She asked

“Yep, he isn’t as bad as you think, Vic” I said

“I hope you’re right” She said. I didn’t ask her if who her partner was going to be because I already knew that her partner would be none other than her boyfriend, Mark. I saw Skyler walking towards us and sat on the seat no.3 next to Victoria
