Chapter 7

Skyler’s POV

We got knocked over by the explosion, my vision became blurred. I tried to focus my sight then it became clear, I was now under the sea so I swam up and looked for Stella but she was nowhere to be found, I looked around more but still no signed of her so I dove down into the sea again. I found Stella getting deeper and deeper, looks like she lost conscious. I swam deeper to get closer to Stella then I grabbed her hand and then I grabbed her waist. I swam up with me holding Stella. When we got up, I looked around and saw a nearby shore.

Come on, Stella! Wake up. I’m tired, you know!

I was too exhausted from the fight earlier but somehow I managed to swim towards the shore. I lay her on sand while I lay beside her. I rested for a minute trying to catch my breath. After a quick rest, I sat up and looked around. In my surprised, I know this place. I lifted her upper body and supported her with my right arm on her neck.

“Stella!” I said but no response

“Stella!” I said a little louder but still no response

“Stella!” I shouted.

“Stella! Wake up!”

Damn! Why isn’t she waking up?

“Stella! Please!” I pleaded. I was scared for moment until I saw her opened her eyes.

Stella’s POV

My sight was still dark but there was a blurred sound. I think it was a voice from someone but I couldn’t understand what he was saying then little by little it became clear

“Stella!” The voice said

“Stella!” The voice kept saying my name louder and louder

“Stella! Wake up!”

Am I asleep?

“Stella! Please!” The voice pleaded then I realized it, it was Skyler’s voice.

I opened my eyes and it was blurred for a moment then it became clear. I saw Skyler’s face, he was looking at me worriedly then I noticed his arm was supporting me. I looked around to see that we were on a shore.

Skyler sighed in relief “Thanked God! You’re alright” He said

“What happen?” I asked. Skyler helped me on sitting up

“Well we were hit by the explosion and our boat got knocked over and you lost conscious. I was about to lost conscious too but I managed not to then I pulled you in here” He explained

I nodded and looked around “Where are we?” I asked

“Fortunately, I know where we are. We’re in Reiheim!” He said

“Reiheim!? Are you serious?” I asked. So that CS-ship brought us on the other side of the world. I’d been to Reiheim before once or twice, I think, because of dad business but we didn’t stay for too long that’s why I never got the chance to roam around.

“Yep, I’m serious” He said. We stared for a moment

“Why are you looking at me like that?” I asked because when I woke up until now he never took he’s eyes off of me

“Owh.. Ahh.. I’m just glad that you’re alright” He said which made me blushed

I smiled “Were you really that worried?” I asked

He looked away “Nope, I just don’t want to lose my credit card girl” He said obviously lying but still it made my heart flattered

I laughed “Speaking of credit card” I said. I searched my pockets to find my credit card but it wasn’t here, it’s neither in my pockets. I groaned for losing our only way for us to get back.
