After talking to Natsuki a bit more, (and finding out that she likes manga!!!) it was finally time to go home. Everyone got their stuff together and went their seperate ways. But just as you pick your jacket up, Sayori walks over. "Hiiii, Jack! I was wondering, um... if we could walk home together today? Since, y'know, we never do anymore.." she asks, fumbling with her words.

"Sure, Sayori. We can walk home." You put your jacket on and step outside with her. It really has been a while since you two walked home together...

"I'm glad you're making friends in the club, Jack!" she cheers, grinning at you. "Uh, thanks. But really, Natsuki likes manga. It was a destined friendship."

"It sure seems like it, huh?" Sayori replies, as you round a curb near your neighborhood. "Yeah, and what about... that other girl. Why is she so quiet?" "Oh, Yuri? I don't know, she hasn't ever really talked up until you joined..."

Did Sayori really just say that? What's that supposed to mean...?

   "Uh... that's weird?"

"Yeah! But I'm glad she started talking to us, so... thank you for um, making her talk!...I think."

   "...Okay."

There's an awkward silence for a second, but thankfully your house was just close enough for your walk to be dismissed. "Okay, bye Sayori."

"Bye Jack! And don't forget to write a poem!!"

"Alright." You unlock your door and step inside, after waving goodbye to her. So, now you have to think of a good poem to write. And to be honest, you have no experience or interest in them... but in order to stay in the club, with all of those cute girls... especially Natsuki...

You glare at the notepad you have on your desk.

——Timeskip——

"Hi Jack!!" Sayori greets. "Did you write a poem last night?"

"Yeah." You hold out a wrinkled paper with your poem, in probably the worst handwriting ever. "...Okay! Good." You shove it in your pocket and walk to the few desks arranged to form a table in the center-ish of the room. Yuri was reading a book, Monika was writing something down, and Natsuki was- staring straight at you.

"Hey Nat."

"Really? You have a nickname for me now, Nat? Is it because I'm short-"

"No, dude, I didn't actually mean to say Nat on purpose, it's just the first three letters of your name-"

She looked really embarrassed. "Oh."

You look away. "...Yeah. So how was your day."

She thinks for a minute. "It was okay... other than those idiots in my english class..."

   "Oh? What did they do?"

"Nothing, they're just big and mean and rude and I hate them."

"Did they do something to you?"

"No!" she snaps. "Stop worrying about me, jeez..."

   "Alright, alright, I'll stop."

"...Do you wanna read Parfait Girls with me today?" she asks, and you nod. She nods back, so you guys both silently retreat to the "manga closet" and she grabs the book. You both sit against the wall and read the (cliche) manga together.
