Keith woke up and started getting ready to go to the hospital with Shiro.Keith puts on Lance's hoody and feed Azul and Red then walked out of his room."Shiro are you ready to go,"Keith said while banging on Shiro's door.Shiro walks out and says,"do you want Breakfast or not?"Keith looked up at him and said,"sure but can we have something quick?""I'll make toast,"Shiro said walking towards the kitchen.Keith sits on the couch and checked his phone and saw he got over 107 messages from pidge.Keith some how read all of them and then texted her that how Lance was in the hospital and that him and Shiro were going today.Keith grabbed a piece of toast and started walking to the car with Shiro."Where are you two going,"Keith and Shiro's mom/step mom said."We are going to the hospital to check on a friend,"Shiro said hugging her and giving her a kiss on the head."Please be back soon your father is coming home and Keith you have something you have to tell him.Shiro looked at Keith and Keith had fear in his eyes.Keith ran upstairs and grabbed red and Azul and put them in the car and then sat in the passenger seat.Shiro came in and sat in the driver's seat."He can't know they were here or that other thing I have to tell him,"Keith said to Shiro looking at him with fear written on his face."It's ok let's just see Lance then we can rent out a hotel for the weekend,"Shiro said pulling out his emergency money."No I can just get pidge to watch Azul and red,"Keith said."What about you,"Shiro said."I can deal with him for a night,"Keith said.Shiro nodded then started up the car and drove to pidges house then dropped of the animals and went to the hospital.When they got into Lance's room Keith saw Lance's older sister."Hey kadie how is he doing,"Shiro asked the girl who looked the same age as Shiro."He is stable and if you were here an hour ago he was awake,"Kadie said."Where is Miss McClain,"Shiro asked."She went home with the rest but I desided to stay,"Kadie said.Lance started to wake up."K..Kadie are you still here,"Lance said trying not to stumble on words."Yeah I'm here so is Shiro and his brother,"Kadie said.She grabbed his hand."Hey buddy how are you doing,"Shiro said bending down next to the bed."I'm fine I'm just waiting for my dad to get back because he is gonna give me some of his blood,"Lance says stumbling on his words."Keith is here 2 he was the one who saved you,"Shiro said.Keith was trying to hold back tears.Keith walked up slowly and just tried to put on a smile but couldn't A tear rolled down his cheek."Don't cry I'm ok,"Lance said sitting up and wiping the tears off of Keith's cheek.Lance sat back down and asked Kadie and Shiro to leave.Lance sat Criss cross apple sauce on the hospital bed and patted his hand on one part of the bed signaling Keith to sit down.When Keith sat down Lance hugged him."I'm sorry,"Lance said."Why are you sorry I should be the one who is sorry I left you alone even tho that freak was there and all I did was make you feel like crap and then you got kidnapped and I didn't even know,"Keith said.Keith and lace we're both crying."if you care about someone and you knew someone was after them and all you do is leave them alone then...,"Keith was cut off."Stop this was my fault I left the door open and Azul ran out and I went looking for him and found him tied to Kaden's fence and the only way I could get Azul free was to give myself to Kaden so that is what I did,"Lance said."Why would you do that,"Keith said."Because I love Azul and if he ever got hurt I could never live with myself,"Lance said."Lance I'm in love with you and I'm only known you a week and I want to kiss you right now and I just never want to see you hurt ever,"Keith said hugging him tight."I love you too,"Lance said hugging back.
