The lights were off. Of course. It was 1:30 in the morning, duh the lights are going to be off. I think Molly was crying because I could hear sniffles behind me and I knew it wasn't Adam or Jase.
"Molly, are you okay?" I asked.
"Shut up! If they wake up, we're done. Like, done!" Jase whisper-yelled.
"I'm sorry! But something is really freaking Molly out. I mean really freaking her out. Look!"
Molly had the most frightened look on her face and she was staring in the direction that looked like it would be the kitchen. I followed her eyes and looked to where she was looking at. It was a shadow that looked about the size of a big, bulky man.
"Guys..." Molly said pointing to the figure.
Jase walked towards the figure to find it was the fridge.
"Phew, oh my god," Molly said going to Jase, "your a life saver. Thank you." She kissed him.
"Shh.. We can't talk at all unless completely necessary." Adam shhsed us all.
It wasn't hard to find the door to the room, and I feel like the people were just married because they had "just married!" written on the door.
"Do we really have to do it to them?" I asked hesitantly.
"Yes, now quit complaining and open the door!" Jase pushed me.
I opened the door as quietly and slowly as I could. The door creaked and I'm surprised the weds didn't wake. That was, until I saw from across the room that one blanket had been folded as if a person had gotten out of the bed.
"Guys... someone is not in the bed, which means right now, we're not alone." I whispered.
"Great, Molly's babyish crying woke them up. Good job." Adam said.
Suddenly, the door creaked open and there, at that moment, I saw what I had feared since this plan would make.
"Surprise." Then the gun went off.
I ran for my life and I was most likely going to get shot because I was the one closest to the big, broad man.
I suddenly felt nothing at all. I felt my knees go to the ground and I could feel nor hear anything. I could only hear the faint screams of my best friends.
"Oh my god!" Molly cried and cried. She got down on the floor and tried to shake me but she didn't have the strength.
"What did you do?! Oh my god! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!?!" Molly cried and yelled.
Suddenly, Molly ran over to the man and tried to jump on him until Jase pulled her away and held her carefully.
Adam ran over to me and picked me up. He carried me out the door and put me into the car.
I then managed to see Adam get back out of the car and walk back into the house.
"Adam!" I tried to scream out but nothing came.
I heard a scream and then Adam walked out with a satisfied look on his face.
"Step on it!" Adam exclaimed, "like, now!"
Jase drove off and I heard Adam's panicky voice talking about what we should do.
"Do we take her to the hospital?" He asked.
"How bad is her leg?" Molly asked.
He looked at my thigh and flinched at the sight of it.
"Oh my god. Take her to the hospital. It's like non-stop bleeding."
