After that promise I was sure that I would be able to keep anything after that. Something as big as this I don't know if I'd be able to even come out of my room after it was finished (if I even managed to do so.) But what I really can't put to mind is why in the world would Adam come up with this insane idea that could make us be prisoned the next week. A million thoughts were running through my mind at once and I just couldn't think of myself of a murder. But hey, people change.

"Honey, come down here! We need to talk to you." My mom yelled from downstairs.

Great. I knew what this was. It was either going to be one of those heart-to-heart talks where she says 'I'm always here for you and you can always talk to me' and all that, or it was going to be one of those talks about school and boys. But nothing about either of those had she mentioned to me yet this week, so I would imagine that it would be something else.

"Yeah?" I asked groaning.

"Why so moody? Is it your time of the-."

"Mom, don't even start." I said sounding disgusted (even though it was.)

"Okay, well your father and I wanted to talk to you about next week." She said sounding as if she knew that something was up and instantly my stomach started hurting.

"So we're going to Alaska, you know that though, right?" She asked.

I nodded in agreement even though i actually had no idea about it. The thought of them going on a 'love trip' actually kind of grossed me out.

"So, we know how you and your friends like to go on yearly trips over winter break, so we just wanted to make sure there would be an adult with you guys." My mom said sounding all overprotective parent like.

"Yeah, of course. Molly's mom is going." I lied.

"Alright, well we leave in three days, so you'll be home by yourself until you guys leave!" My mom turned around and walked up the stairs exiting with a kiss on my cheek.

"Love you!" She said.

"Love you too." I managed to yell back before she made it up to her room to start packing.

I was really surprised that my mom believed that lie. I could NEVER pull off a lie. But yet whenever I lied, I smiled, and I tend to smile alot, so I guess it was pretty easy.

The next day we all returned to school and it was 1st period-Mr. Callan. Everyone hated Mr. Callan. Even though he was one of the most easy going teachers, he seemed a little weird. Like he always seemed to look at the girls like he was going to kidnap them right then and there.

"Now students, I want you to write a 1,000 word paper on why you think you have school. This question has been asked frequently. So, the question for your essay is, Why do you as students think we have school? Please explain in full detail and add in everything you can about it. It will be due next week on Thursday." Mr Callan said.

There was a big sigh from the whole entire classroom, and all Mr. Callan did was just roll his eyes over to a nice looking girl, Savannah Moore. She was very pretty, but I think she was creeped out.

"Can we have partners?" A kid from the back called out.

"Now, no. This is an independent assignment." Mr. Callan called back as if he had already answered that question a million times.

"First period dismissed!" Mr. Callan called out.

We all ran out of the room as if a murderer were chasing us. About three hours later we all met up at our lunch table.

"So, my stomach has been twisting all day and all last night. Any of you guys?" Molly said sounding sick to her stomach.

"A little bit, I mean it's not like we're actually going to do it, right?" I said.

"Umm, what are you talking about?" Jase asked me.

"Well, if you think about it, I kind of agree with Molly. It's sickening." I said disgusted.

"Thank you! Someone agrees with me!" Molly said sounding happy.

"You guys, don't chicken out and leave me and Adam to do it. What's the fun in that?" Jase asked us.

"Well, winter break is officially two days, so we don't have long to decide. I figure, hey why not. I want excitement in my life. This is a great oppurtunity." Adam said sounding like he was explaining a really interesting book or something.

"Well, if you think about it, we'd have to search and like, watch the person we're going to target at, and learn more about them. Like the time they get up to go to work, get home from work, where they live, when their awake and asleep, do they have a family? kids? divorced? married?" I said getting more into the idea.

"Well, I agree with her. We can't just show up at some random persons house without even knowing anything about them." Molly said.

"Great Mols, you're in!" Adam said.

"I guess." Molly said sighing.

If we could get Molly in on something this big, we were sure to be okay. I mean I don't know why I thought just because we had one of the smartest girls out there on our "murder team" that we would get away with it without having anything traced back to us. Now that I think about it, I'm thankful I have Molly.
