Alanna had awoken after her long needed sleep. She had eaten more food than she ever had in her entire life, taken a bath, and had been put to bed last night.
She had come from near death in the desert to finding Tyrion in Meereen.
She stretched, her body ached, and she was covrred in cuts and bruses, but she was still alive and from what the Measter could tell as he examined her yesterday so was her baby.
Alanna had been placed in Tyrion's room after the man had suggested it not wanting her far from him after everything that had happened.
She glanced around the room and noticed that the stone walls gave off a much different atmosphere than the ones at home. These seemed a sandy color and wasn't the usual grey rock texture that she was use to seeing.
Finishing up looking around the room she spotted a tray of grapes, cheeses, and bread laid out. She also noticed a jug of liquid, she hoped it was water.
Climbing from the bed that she and Tyrion had shared the night before she placed her bandaged feet against the ground and wobbled toward the chair and took a seat eating the food spread.
She savored the flavor of the grapes and cheeses in her mouth unlike last night when she devoured three whole birds and part of a rabbit. Pouring the water into her cup - Tyrion must have had it sent in for her - she drank it down making the bread go down easier.
As she sat there enjoying the food and drink the door to the chambers opened. She paused momentarily to see who it was that entered.
It was Tyrion.
He viewed her as he entered the bedroom. He still couldn't believe it if he had not seen her sitting there.
The idea of her still being alive even after the way that the slaver head explained the drop and the rocks and the way that she had fallen into the ocean he believed her to be dead. But that was obviously not the case for she was sitting right there in his chair eating the food that he had brought to his room that morning while she slept.
He gave a small smile as he walked down the three steps into his main room. He made his way over to the table and took a seat across from her. They looked at each other as they were silent in each other's presence.
Then Tyrion took her hand in his as he cupped her hand that was resting on the top of the table free of the food that she was eating.
She didn't bother to pull her hand away as she felt the top of her hand slowly. She looks from there joined him on the table top back up to his oddly colored gaze.
"How are you feeling this morning?"
"Like I had been walking the desert for two days barefoot with no food or water."
She said with a small smirk turning the edges of her lips as she popped the grape into her mouth. Tyrion couldn't help but give a chuckle himself as he lowered his head for a moment and shook it.
"You know,"
He said lifting his head once again to look at her.
"Out of the two of us you had it probably the easiest."
Alanna's eyes widened and she looked taken aback but managed to find the humor in his tone.
"How so!"
She gasped as she swallowed the grape. Tyrion lulled his head a little back and forth to the side.
"Well, you weren't threatened to have your most intimate areas cut from you and sold as good luck charms at the market."
