"Jorah?"
Alanna questioned as they stepped out onto the dock. She inhaled, the cold air hitting her lungs. How she had missed the cold air bustling around her body.
"Yes my lady?"
Jorah questioned looking toward Alanna. She held Tyanna close to her chest keeping her child warm.
"Best you dress warmly. The North shows no kindness to anyone."
She informed him as she walked off the dock and toward the small shack. A small shack that held horses and wagons for sale.
"What is your plan?"
"Find Sansa, if I know my sister as well as I think I do she will not say held in the Bolton arms for long."
She said walking with Jorah and into the building. Tyanna fast asleep in her arms. Jorah looked to her, watching as she spoke so easily with the clerk. Jorah had been silent the entire time merely watching.
The man seemed to be completely unaware as to who he was talking to at the moment so all was well.
"Bolton troops or allies won't take kind to my return, but perhaps I can find a way to take advantage of it."
Alanna said quietly to Jorah after the fee for the horse and carriage was paid to the man. Tyanna laid sound asleep in her arms as Jorah took the small baby to allow Alanna to climb into the front of the wagon before fetching her child.
"And what's your plan for that?"
Jorah questioned a chill going down his spine from the lack of warm clothing. Too much time was spent in the East which caused him to forget about the cruel tempetures of Westeros entirely.
"Swaying Lord Bolton that I am simply returning home."
Jorah quickly looked at Alanna shocked.
"Was he not the man who killed your brother and mother?"
"Was the man I had married not the soul part in my families downfall?"
Jorah couldn't help but wince. Her truthfulness knew no bounds as of late and she seemed to show that she cared very little for her own health.
"I cannot in good faith allow you to march head first into Bolton's home. Your sister wouldn't wish that upon you either nor would Lord Tyrion."
Alanna was quiet for a good length of the wagon ride west after that point. She merely sat beside Jorah and listened to the quiet Northern wilderness had to offer.
She inhaled the scent of the deep pine grove and misty mountains. The air was cold enough to choke you, but crisp enough to help you to breathe.
She had nearly forgotten what it was like being away from home for nearly five years of her life. She had almost forgotten so much of it all.
And she had learned so much more than she ever believed possible.
