Alanna sat there basking in the sun holding her daughter to her breast feeding her little girl. The blonde hair was of course the brilliant Lannister trait that all of them had, but the eyes, her daughter's eyes were blue like her own.
Tyrion entered the room quietly after a long day of helping Daenerys figuring out their path to helping the people of Essos. She of course didn't hear Tyrion enter the room and so he was able to see the sight of Alanna and her newborn.
He kept quiet as he continued his slow steps toward her. It was only once Tyrion stood beside her did she acknowledge him by turning her head and looking at him. She was smiling softly.
"She doesn't even have teeth yet and she has a stronge bite."
She chuckled. Tyrion felt his heart melt looking at the one month child. When he had entered that room such a long time ago and seen the blood all over the blankets and floor, he wondered if that's what his own father felt when he had seen his wife, Tyrion's mother.
The raw fear of loosing someone that you care for enough to give Tyrion the scare of his life.
"Have you chosen a name for her yet?"
She questioned drawing Tyrion's eyes from the small baby in her arms to her face. She looked up at him with a soft smile.
"I did tell you I wanted you to name her."
She reminded. Tyrion couldn't help but snort a little. He had been too preoccupied with the notion that she might have died during child birth to even think of names for the little girl in her arms.
"Apologies, but I was a little preoccupied with other worries than coming up for a name for your daughter. Such as your health and well being."
Tyrion informed her causing Alanna to smile softly at him. She glanced back down at her daughter. The golden little hair that peaked put from under the blanket that was wrapped around her, the blue eyes Tyrion had already seen prior.
She was a beautiful child.
"Tyanna."
Tyrion said softly causing Alanna to look at him. Her eyes widened and bit, noticing the combination of names that he suddenly spoken. She gave a sad smile looking down at her child.
"Tyanna Lannister. That's a good name."
Alanna said softly gazing down at her child, using her free hand to move some of the blonde hair out of the child's face. She never thought she could end up loving something as small as she did this little girl already.
"She should have a father, don't you think?"
Tyrion questioned suddenly causing Alanna to turn and look at him with an arched brow. She noticed the nervous look from him.
"And you should have someone who is supportive and cares for you."
"Tyrion?"
"Marry me, Alanna."
Tyrion spoke looking at her and never breaking eye contact with her. Alanna felt her chest ache that very moment. It was a feeling she had not felt in the longest time.
Not since she had given her heart wholly to Tywin.
"Tyrion, I -- "
"Alanna, I love you."
He confessed. Alanna just looked at Tyrion for a moment trying to figure out her next move. Her heart pounding and her ears ringing as she watched Tyrion move from her side to stand in front of her.
He bent down onto his knee, making himself even shorter than before.
"I knew there was something different about you the moment I seen you at my father's table, and then when you asked about my wounds. I knew that you genuinely cared about me. Then to attempt to help me when nobody else believed my innocences when it came to Joffery."
He said putting his hands over her knee. She held her child closer to her chest, adjusting the child that was feeding.
"Tyrion, I don't -- "
"I love you. More than I have anyone else in a long time. I want to marry you. I want your child, who you let me name, have a father that would love her."
"You're married to my sister, Tyrion. Fucking you and loving you is one thing but we cannot marry until the two of you are divorced, and you know as well as I do that -- "
"You love me?"
He asked slowly looking up at her. She closed her mouth and sighed deeply through her nose.
"Yes, Tyrion, I love you."
She said softly shaking her head looking at him. Tyanna stated to fuss in her arms causing Alanna to sigh and remove the child from her breast. Taking her free hand she grabbed her dress and adjusted it to where she was now covered.
"I have for sometime now."
She admitted. This did come as a shock to him. He understood that there were feelings there but the type of feelings he wasn't completely sure about until now when she confessed to it.
"Sansa and I never consummated our marraige, we're as good as not married at all."
Tyrion bluntly spoke. The little girl cooed in Alanna's arms causing her to rock the little one a bit more.
"Is it because you were too busy with Shae?"
"I never touched Shae while married to your sister, I swear to you."
He said looking at Alanna. She sighed deeply looking at the man before her.
"Marry me?"
He questioned again hoping that she would agree. The look she gave him was an unsure one he noticed. He didn't know if she would end up accepting his offer or not.
"Let me sleep on it. There are things I have to figure out first and foremost. But I'll give you an answer soon."
She promised. Tyrion nodded that was all he needed to hear.
