After that, I ran. I could hear the authorities getting nearer and nearer as I sprinted down the road. I ducked left into an alley and dived round a corner that lead to a dead end. Here, I sat.

Panting and with my heart racing, I attempted to process what had just happened. The fire couldn't have been me, it just couldn't! I sighed. What was going on? I suddenly found I was extremely tired. I yawned loudly and settled against the wall. I was asleep in seconds.

"You have awaken finally"

Who was that? And where was I?

"Wh-Who are you?" I asked.

"I am Inferno. And you are my chosen. Welcome to my realm."

I took a look around. This 'realm' was strange. Fire was blazing as far as I could see but, oddly no smoke was being created. I felt strangely at home here.

"There is much for us to talk about, but now you must wake up in your own world. We will talk on a later date."

I woke up. Dazed and confused from my realistic dream, I slowly sat up. It took me a few moments to completely remember why I was here. Memories rushed back into my head. A chant. A fire. A murderer.

I took a long breath as I prepared to set off again. I couldn't stay here forever. I was starving. I had a few pounds of pocket money, that could get me some food. Maybe. I had a nagging voice in the back of my head saying:

"You won't make it... You're too weak."

Some part of me knew it was true.
