At Home

Coming home after a shift which was one of your darkest yet is difficult.

Maybe you almost never made it home.

Maybe you were held at gun point.

Maybe you saw a little girl take her last breath and find it hard to face your daughter.

Maybe you don't feel you can open up when you come home.

Maybe your wife doesn't understand.

Maybe you have marriage issues.

Maybe you just have a hard time adjusting to normal life.

It's hard to be at home when you struggle from thoughts of "that shift".
