Officers Get Scared To

It's a holiday night eating my meal in the cruiser.

Dispatch call goes out for an officer down.

And away we go.

We arrive on scene a brothers down in the street.

Screams and cries fill the air.

Suddenly there's more shots flying over our head we radio to dispatch that we are under fire.

Luckily that's when I awake realizing it was just another dream.

People have us afraid to go to work each and every day.

But we put on our badge and holster our gun and do it anyways.

We may be officers but we get scared to.

Because my life matters to!
