Firefighters Mindset On 9/11

Into the unknown here we go.

Brother and sister side by side.

Many stairs to climb.

They say a plane hit.

Others say a bomb.

We will know when this tragedy ends.

Many know this is big.

Many believe that this won't end good.

Step by step up we go.

People hurt passing us by.

We direct them to go down to the lobby where EMS is.

Rumble!

Shatter!

Over the radio we hear a plane hit tower 2.

Others say the fire jumped to the other tower.

Step by step we climb.

Rumble!

I look to my brothers and sisters and know the end is near.

And with sudden impact from above.

The world around me turns dark.
