Chapter 14 : Friendship?

"What can i do for you?" Emily asked Mia.

"Well um, you see Riley - "

"If it has anything to do with Riley, it's a no. Sorry."

"No you don't understand. You see she was plotting something against you and spreading rumours about you, so i stood up for you because i knew it was wrong. And you are a kind person and didn't do anything but be kind to her."

"And?"

"So she said that i must leave the group because I'm no longer 'her friend' " Mia said making quotation marks with her fingers when she said 'her friend' .

"Oh i see. So what do you need from me?"

"Um, could i, um, you know - "

"No i don't know. If you don't say then i won't know."

"Could i hang out with you?"

"How do i know that this isn't part of Rileys plan for you to get close with me and do whatever you need to do just so you guys can kick me down?"

"I promise you it's not." Mia said sitting down. 

"Did i say you can sit down?"

"Uh- no. Sorry." She said standing up.

"Just kidding. Sit down. Okay. I believe you but if you ever turn your back on me; you're dead."

"Uhm -" Mia said swallowing deeply, and sitting down.

"Just kidding. Don't be so serious. My lord."

Mia let out a slight laugh. Emily looked at the table Riley and her clan was sitting at.

"Aah. Well they're looking at us. Loosers. Oh, i saw what you did to her. You threw your drink on her. You go girl!" She said putting her hand up for a high five and Mia high fived her.

"She deserved it. She's really bossy. All she does is complain."

"Oh. Yeah, i know that. But tell me, what has she been planning to do to me?"

"I don't know. But she just said that she's going to make you pay and you will wish you were never born."

"That's nice. Must be nice for her to say shit like that, because she's not going to win a war against me. What has she been saying about me?"

"She said that because you knew she liked some dude in primary school and you still got close with him, she's going to make you pay for that."

"Hah! That's bullshit. Oh my word. I'm glad she's spreading something other than her legs."

Right when Emily said that, Mia burst out laughing.

"That - was - hilarious."

The whole of Rileys clan looked at them and Emily saw.

"Thank you." She said laughing.

"Well, thank you for letting me hang out with you from now." Mia said standing up as the bell rang, Emily standing up as well.

"My pleasure. Hopefully this is the start of a new friendship."

"Hopefully." Mia said.

The two of them walked to their classes.

Is a new friendship going to form or is it indeed part of Rileys whole plan?
