After he had let the rage get the best of him, he was returning to the room she was in. He was crying loudly, they weren't tears of sadness but frustration. He was dragging his feet on the black marble floor as if they weighed a ton. He was frustrated with his destiny. He couldn't help but be so vulnerable, this was one of the reasons he always felt that whenever fate was playing its games it was always unjust, and he knew the reason. He couldn't help but get angry.

"Howard!" he came running not wanting him to get any angrier. With his head down he said "yes, sir" in the smallest tone ever. Lucifer took Howard's hair in his bloody fist making him look at him, Howards trembled in fear. This was one of the few times he had gotten to see his eyes, chills ran down his spine from his cold touch and stare. The empty eyes and black tears frightened him, he could no longer feel his body. This had never happened before, the blood-crawling feeling taking over his senses like poison. A whimper left his mouth, Lucifer throws his head back in disgust making Howard fall onto the floor. He started to crawl backwards on the floor as he begged for forgiveness. Lucifer sighed loudly and shook his head, within a second. He was back to the same resting face he usually had.

"Get a new soul, we are not using her," he said without emotions. Howard was about to insist but with the position he was in, he knew better. Howard couldn't rap his head around the situation. What was going on, was the only thing going through his head. He didn't understand, the demons had followed his demand, no one noticed and everything was going as planned. The brew was also almost ready, then what was the problem. What had made the devil cry.

For as long as he had existed he had never seen him express emotions. Howard realized something that made him fall into a deeper thought. He had known Lucifer for as long as he could remember but he never truly got to know him. Maybe it was because he had been too scared or maybe he never really tried to know him. He never asked any whys, never personally asked how it truly went down - when he was thrown out. All he knew was just what he had heard from others but never from him, maybe there was something more. It made Howard's lookup as he watched Lucifers dark silhouette walking away.

Lucifer continued down the hall until he was in front of the door that was separating them for the time being. He pushed the door open to find her in the same position. Still unconscious on the hard surfaces of the table. This was the first time in his existence he didn't know what to do, should he keep her here not knowing if she would be sane, even if she was sane what were the chances of her remembering their past even he had forgotten, or even if she remembered he had left her all alone. A sinking feeling occupied his stomach, or maybe he should send her back and risk never seeing her again. How could she ever accept him, he was the devil and no longer the naive angel of God. There wasn't a way he could think of them being together, he started to cry again but this time the tears were of true sorrow.

"How can you be so unjust?" he questioned sobbing loudly looking up, the first time since he had been thrown out he could feel the power, God held above him.

He stood by her laying figure, reaching out to move a strand of hair that was in her eye but soon withdrawn realizing that his hand was still covered in demon blood. Whipping the blood off on his clothes as he reached out again and gently tucked her hair back. He was mesmerized by her beauty. He swooped his hands under her and lifted her with ease, still looking at her face. As he carried her out the room, he had forgotten all about his surroundings all he saw, was her. With her, in his arms, he was at ease.

He entered his chamber and laid her down on the black silk sheets. In his darkroom she shined, her innocent presence lit it up. He couldn't help but lay next to her. There was so much he wanted to ask but couldn't. He felt as if she was unreachable even though she was right next to him. He just observed her from afar, there was this distance he couldn't explain. There was this ora about her, very unfamiliar. He wanted to know, he wanted to ask so he did the next best thing he could. Taking a hold of her delicate hand, he closed his empty eyes. Waves of sorrow washed over him, sorrow so deep that his heart started to ache. She had been in pain and it was all because of him. He had brought her world down, he was her force of nature. She surrendered on her own will because he knows she's a caution taker. Her feelings were so aligned with his right now that he wished, just maybe she was happy without him but there was no sign of joy in her soul. He knew now what he had to do. She deserves better.

Tears ran down his face, soaking the sheets. He regretted second after, why was he so couriers, why did he have to feel her soul, why did he have to make everything so much more difficult for himself. He could already feel his heart aching. He couldn't help himself but hug her, loud sobs left his throat. She felt so fragile in his embrace, he kissed her forehead letting his lips linger he wanted to cherish every moment he had with her, with every moment it felt like she was getting further away. Time was ticking. A numbing feeling occupied his body, he had to let her go.
