Today was the day, the last thing in the ritual would be done today. He had been waiting for this day. It was only in the last decade they started the ritual, he had to wait for the stars to line up which only happens every millennium. He had lost the chance to start the ritual every time because of some sort of complications. But this time everything was going the way it was supposed to, nothing could stop him now, he would finally get his revenge. Finally get justice. He sat on his burning throne of iron and coal, sipping on his drink. He had been smirking at the thought of blood as he stared into the abyss. The itching feeling for innocent blood was growing inside of him, he had never tortured a pure soul. Every thing he had ever laid hands was always evil, so this was going to be quite fun for him. He could practically hear screams of agony he was going to cause, it was like music to his ears. The squeaking sound of the big iron doors made him look up as the king of the crossroads, Howard walking towards him with his head down not daring to look him in the eyes, the sound of his footstep only thing heard in the big empty hall.
"It's here, sir." With that he rose from his seat and without a word and made his way to the room he had been waiting to enter. Howard followed him silently. As he got close to the room, the doors were opened by the demons that had brought it in. They bowed their head, not wanting to disrespect him. He could see as the body laid in the middle of the dark room on a table. The dim light only shining on her. He stopped and stared for a few minutes, confusion took over him but non of it showing on his face. His cruel gaze on the body making his servants feel uneasy. Had they made a mistake? With no emotion in his voice he said "You are dismissed." They all left in a hurry not wanting to be in his presence nor wanting to disobey him.
He entered the room and closed the doors, a sigh of anger left his mouth as he got closer to her. He groaned loudly, this can't be happening he thought. He turned away not wanting to look at her, knowing if he did he could never do it. He looked at the ground with his eyebrows squinted together in anger, this is no way for me to behave, she dosen't matter. You never got to know the person she became, it was nothing. You were just following God's wish, not your choice he thought getting back to his normal state of evil.
He ran a hand over his face, he turned around ready to begin but his breath was taken away as he saw her again, he couldn't stop staring at her. His cold hearts beat quickened, it had been milleniums seen he had last seen her, he still recognized her beauty no matter how much he didn't want to. He didn't want to remember her, she's a weak angel nothing compared to him now nor then. Then something came to him this can't be right he thought, she's an angel and the ritual is meant for a human. He was ready to yell at his servants for making a mistake. Ready to let her go of his cruel clutches, but then it clicked, unless his thoughts drifted and a weave of guilt and sorrow washed over his cold heart, he hadn't felt something like this since his departure. He never thought she would do it for him, he started to regret his last word to her, he had told her to not forget him but the second he was thrown out he had forgotten her, the anger of being betrayed had taken over him, the lust for revenge and blood making him see red, making him forget something as innocent as her.
"How could you?" he whispered, feeling ashamed of himself. He had made her do it. He caressed her soft cheek lightly with his hand, not wanting to wake her. He was hypnotized by her like all those years ago, when he hade for the first time seen her. She was only a week old then, the news of her creation came late to him even though they were bonded. He still can't believe how they were bonded, him well being him and her being an angel without flaws. Even though he only got to spend limited time with her, it was the happiest he had ever felt. He never got to see her became a grown angel and that's all because of God. He did this to him, all the fever, all the rage, all the powerlessness, he felt because of him, turned him cruel. He knows how he is, to be powerful you can't be all good because if he was all good he wouldn't be all powerful.
She became a victim of God's cruelty, his ways made the innocent lily she was, wither. He couldn't look away from her now with all the old feelings drowning him, it was all new, not having felt like this for ages, it frightened him. The dilemma of wanting to have her and the other half wanting to forget. But all he could do was look at her, noticed her every future. From her long luscious lashes, her plump lips, freckles on her button shaped nose to the dark circles under her eyes and the now dried up tears on her cheeks. Something clicked.
Those bastard had made her cry.
The ruthless animal inside of him awakened being triggered by the pain she might have felt, blood rushing to his ears as the cruel darkness overtook his eyes, the burning pit of rage grow inside of him, as he went yelling out the room only seeing red. The only sound of his voice creating chaos, coal mountains tumbling, setting fuel to the already burning pit called hell. But he was the one, who was going to show hell to them after all he's not one to forgive.
