Chapter One

Karen sat in her car, she had just received the text from Josh for the winter getaway. She was skeptical about going at first, but she eventually came around to going. She was happy to see all her friends again, since they only talked during school hours. The only people she would talk to were Jeremy and Chris, since she felt the most comfortable with. She shared her deepest darkest secrets with them, they were practically her brothers. She was also Jessica would go, since they would always have fun fussing who's was the prettiest. Overall, she was excited.

She received a phone call from Jeremy.

"Sup Karen," he says.
"Just on my way to the lodge, what about you?" She asks.
"I'm already here."
"Who's all there now?"
"Robert could actually come this time. Chris, Ashley, Mike, Jess and Sam are here. So is Johnny and Ryan. Oh, Sean just walked in," he says.
"Ok I'll be there in about five minutes."
"Sounds good. See ya," he says hanging up.

She pulls up to the lodge, gets out, and grabs her bags.
"Okay, let's go."

Chris was sitting in Josh's living room, yet he still hasn't arrived. It was ironic, he lived here. Ashley took a seat next to him. Making him give a heavy sigh of nervousness. Sean and Matt looked at him with huge grins on their faces, since he told them about his feelings for Ash.

"Hey Chris, what's going on?" She asks.
"Oh nothing much, just sitting here waiting for Josh," he says blushing.
"Well he better get here fast, the fire won't start itself," she says sarcastically.
"Yeah," he says chuckling.
"Ok well I'm gonna go talk to Emily, see you later," she says getting up.
"Ok bye," he says.

Sean and Matt were by Josh's bar, Sean had already gotten into Josh's booze. Despite the fact that he wasn't old enough to drink yet.
"Where's the Jack Daniels?" He asks angrily.
"Sean we just got here," Matt says shocked.
"Does it look like I give a damn?" He asks sarcastically.
"Whatever, when you get alcohol poisoning don't come crying to me," he says.
"Nah, I'll go crying to Karen," he says laughing.
"You still haven't told her that you like her, have you?"
"Hell no, Matt!"

Sam was sitting on the stairs, bored out of her mind.
"Hey Sam, what's up?" Jeremy asks sitting down next to her.
"Oh just, bored," she says looking to side.
"Yeah, same."
"I can't wait to take a bath, and wash all this dirt off," she says.
"You don't look that bad, Sam."
"Oh really, I don't think so," she says nervously.
"Yeah, definitely."

"Ryan what's it supposed to look like for the week we'll be here," Johnny asks walking up to him. "Oh, let me check," he says. "Ok, snow, snow, and..... More snow," he says sarcastically.

"Yeah, thanks that helps a lot," he says.

"That's literally the dumbest fucking question I've ever heard, John," he says laughing.
"Yeah, dude like what the fuck," Robert says in a funny accent.
"Hey, Rob what's up," Ryan says.
"Nothing, just got here," he says putting his bags down.

Karen was finally up the hill and at the door to the lodge. She opened it up and walked in.

"Hey, what's up Karen!" They all say.
She sets her bags down and walks towards Matt and Sean.

"I'm telling you, it's here somewhere," Sean says.
"He's out, Sean."
"Hey Matt, Sean, what's going on?" Karen asks walking by.
"Oh, hey Karen," Sean says.
"Yeah what's been up," Matt says.
"Just been doing my own thing, that tie looks great by the way Sean," she says.
"Oh, um, thank you," he says choking on his words.

Josh walks into the door, with flint and steal at hand.

"Alright, time to Minecraft this shit up," he says laughing.
"You're so childish, Josh," Chris says high fiving him.
"Well, you know me," he says.
"Let's get some music going," Jeremy says getting his speaker and phone out.

He plugs it in and plays "Rockstar" by Post Malone.

"Nice to see your shitty music taste hasn't changed, Jay," Sam says laughing.
"Hey, I'm providing entertainment for the group, Sam," he says in a sarcastic tone.
"Yeah, sure," she says.

"Guys, you know what we should do!" Karen says." We should fuck with a spirit board!"
"Um, why?" Jeremy ask smiling.
"Because, it'll be fun!" She says.
"Alright I'm down," Matt says.

Josh gets the old board out of his closet and sets in on the table. The 14 guests sit down uncomfortably together and put there hands on the piece in the middle.

"Okay, abbra caddabra," Karen says joking around.

The piece doesn't move.

"C'mon Kay, be serious about it," Ryan says.
"Fine. Okay, is there anyone there."

The piece moves to yes.
