Until Dawn ~Remake~

Chapter Three

"Okay, well. Let's hope they return soon," Mike says watching Matt and Chris leave.
"They'll be fine, I know it," Ashley says.
"Yeah, that fire tower is like a mile away," Sean says.
"Well we have to have some hope, Sean," Jay says.

Matt and Chris

"Almost there, Chris," Matt says out of breath.
They had just climbed up a large slope to get where they were.
"God that sucked!" Chris says with his hands on his knees.
"It's only a few more meters man, c'mon!" Matt says pushing Chris forwards.
"I'm going I'm going," Chris says.

They approach a cliff, the same one Hannah and Beth had fallen off on.

"Wait, look at this, Chris!"
"Is that? Is that Hannah's phone?" Chris asks.
"Yeah, it was wedged between these boards on the boardwalk," he says.
"Shit, we need to hurry and get to this tower!" Chris says, "c'mon Matt!"

The Lodge

Jeremy, Sean and Mike sat in the movie theater chairs as the girls sat in one corner complaining about the cold.

"It's been four hours, I don't think they're coming back," Sean says.
"You don't know that!" Mike says.
"I'm just saying, I'm as worried as you two are but we need to take matters into our own hands!" He says.
"He's right, Mike," Jay says. "We need to go."
"Ok, fine, let's go," he says.
They get the girls up and walk into the old area of the lodge that was never used.

"Look at this place. It's a dump!" Karen says.
"Yeah, well get used to it," Mike says.

Mike was the last one behind everyone else. As he was walking he was grabbed and pulled into a dark corner. He tried to scream but a gas mask was out over him, knocking him out. As his vision turned to black, he fell to the floor.

Jay was grabbed next, he had been distracted by a noise and was grabbed from the ceiling.
(Kinda like Chris's death if he stayed behind and Ashley investigated the noise)

He fell to the floor, out cold.

One by one, the group members were knocked out stealthy. Until Sean and Karen noticed the absence of all their friends.

"What the fuck?" Sean says.
"Guys?" Karen yells.

Sean sees a figure reaching for Karen.
"Kay!" He yells pushing her into an unsteady elevator shaft.
He saves her from being caught, but he himself is grabbed. He threw a punch at one of the psycho's masks, chipping a chin part off. The psycho grabs Sean, and gasses him.

"Sean!" Karen yells.
A tear drops down her face as the shaft breaks before the psycho can reach her.
"Oh shit!'

The shaft falls with so much speed it knocks Karen out.

Matt and Chris

"Finally, god!" Chris says walking up the stairs to the fire tower.
"Yeah that was at least four hours," Matt says chuckling.

They walk up the stairs, and get inside. Chris presses on the button to call HQ.
"Hello?" Chris asks.
"This is Blackwood Mountain rangers department, over."
"Oh thank God! Okay my name is Christopher Hartley and I'm with Matthew Fischer. There's two maniacs on this mountain and they've already killed two of our friends! You've got to help us!"

"Something tripped the security light, probably a fucking deer," Matt says.
"Okay sir, we'll be at your location at dawn," the man says.
"Shit, okay," Chris says hanging up.

The trap door leading downstairs starts to bang.
"Shit! Matt barricade the door!"

Matt pushes a filing cabinet on the door, successfully keeping the psycho out.
They thought they were in the clear, until they heard a lound snap, and the tower started to fall.

"What's happening?!" Chris says.
"That crazy fucker cut the tower line!" Matt exclaims.
"Grab onto something!" Chris yells. "Oh shit!" He yells as the tower falls.

The tower fell into a mine like area. It was dark and gloomy. The only thing keeping light were the flames right by Matt's face.

"Oh fuck," he says getting up.
He turns to Chris, waking him up.
"Matt? Oh God,"
"C'mon Chris, we gotta go," Matt says picking him up.

They climb out through one of the windows, seeing a possible escape route through the ledge on the other side of the tower.

"Matt, you jump first," Chris says.

The tower starts to shake, and edges closer to falling further down.

"Matt, go!"

Matt jumps to ledge, barely reaching it. But his weight pushes the tower to it's limit.
It plummets down into the mines with Chris still on it.

"Chris!" Matt yells.
