Fitting in

It had been two days since Karna had arrived. This morning he was decided to be in well enough condition to be able to join in on activities without risk.

Currently he's at the archery range. All of the target centers had been filled with arrows fired by him

"Are you sure this is your first time shooting?"

One of the Apollo cabin members ask upon seeing this. Sure, the godly lineage helps, but no one should be this skilled yet.

They had been testing Karna's aptitude for the traits that demigods of Apollo tend to receive. So far his archery and arts seem to be the best, while his ability to heal with song is completely absent even if he does know some of the normal methods.

He feels grateful for them working with him like this. Most of the time he makes a terrible first impression... and second, and third, etc.. However, most of the Apollo campers had decided to try and tolerate that at least for a while, seeing as he's now their half brother. Some of the more perceptive ones even begin to see hints of kindness in what he says, hidden by the steel of his words, and no one can claim that he's at all greedy.

And yet he still gets a feeling he does not entirely belong. It's no one's fault really. He just doesn't have any of the looks all the others inherited from Apollo, he can tell a decent amount of people in the cabin are only working with him to try to avoid leaving him out as a loner in his own half family, and there's also just... well, a feeling. He feels the sun is indeed how he originated but whenever he looks upon this cabin and thinks about his godly father it doesn't feel quit right

There's no point to these thoughts though, it's probably nothing.

"As I said earlier, I have no memory of being an archer before, but I have no memory of before at all either."

"Well, you must have gotten some training at least."

The others agree with this. No one gets this good from just untrained and untested talent

"Perhaps I have received training as you suggest."

In a serious tone one of the campers says "One thing is for certain at least"

"What is that?" Karna ask her

The camper then lets a smile show "I'm really glad you arrived in time for capture the flag."
