The next day Karna excuses himself from the usual testing/practicing with his fellow Apollo cabin mates.

Instead he waits in the main area of the cabin, beside the cot on which the Hecate camper is resting. It had been confirmed earlier that the only actual problem that the Apollo campers can deal with is a lack of energy. So she would be allowed to return to her proper cabin whenever she awakens. First he wants to ask her a bit about yesterday

When she awakens she seems surprised and actually moves back a bit before realizing he's not really doing anything hostile. An after effect of the possession

"Hello. My name is-"

"I know. Karna."

"I see. May I know your name as well then?"

"Marie Austen."

There's a bit of silence then...

"I saw you yesterday. Well. I mean saw you during... you know." Marie mentions

"Obviously. It'd hardly be worth note otherwise."

"Yes. Well, I saw you on a battlefield. Dressed completely different and a lot more powerful but undoubtedly you. I felt this intense hatred towards you for some reason. It was really confusing too because at the same time I got this feeling like a more noble hero could not exist."

Karna's frown deepens. Not from displeasure. Just from thinking this over. The scene was feeling oddly familiar until the moment where she described the contradicting feelings from the spirit

"So this vision and feeling is what compelled you to attack?"

"I think so, along with straightforward control... I think I may know the spirit to have possessed me."

Karna makes a go on sort of gesture

"I can't recognize the name but... Arjuna."

That name really brought a feeling he thinks he's felt before. As well as... perhaps this feeling is envy? He can't be certain. In any case this is probably all he'll learn. At least from her. Chiron seemed like he might know what all this means

"Thank you. I will leave you alone now."

He stands

"I wanted to ask you a question. It relates to What happened with Marie."

"Well, go ahead."

"You seem to know more about my situation than I myself do. Is the name Arjuna familiar?"

"... Oh my. It seems yet another pantheon shows itself. Have you ever heard of the Mahabharata?"

"No."

I could go into detail but it's about as long as several normal books; so I shall speak only what's relevant to you. A major part of it is a war, in this war he had a rival. Can you guess that rival's name?"

"Karna."

"Yes. I had my suspicions and this all but confirms them. It seems you are no child of Apollo, but rather of Surya."

.... yes. That name feels more correct to him.

"Thank you for discussing this with me, Chiron."

"No, I should thank you, now we can think about what to do with the possibility of yet another demigod camp existing... if you don't mind, please tell your cabin head to meet with me as well as the others in 20 minutes"

Karna nods at the request and heads towards where most of the Apollo campers are now
