" What the fuck?!" I yelled.

Those shots would draw in at least half of the walkers banging on the thin glass doors of the department store.

"Merle." I heard Andrea mutter. I should've guessed that prick would be trouble.

We all ran up the metal staircase to the roof, before us we saw a screaming Merle shooting bullets into the air.

" What the hell do ya think your doin?!" I yelled at him he turned around and jumped from the roof ledge

"Just, havin a little fun. Ya wanna have a little fun brunette?" He said running his hand down my waist. I grabbed his fingers and bent them toward him. "Do I have "easy" written across my forehead jackass. Dont try again." I snapped before walking over to ledge, and peering into the walker invested roads. Walkers from every direction were starting to slug their way over the the department.
" Y'all we need ta move asap." I shouted over to the group who had followed me and Andrea.

"Before we do that, what was this prick doin?! You tryin to get us killed man?" T-Dog yelled at Merle.

Merle fired back with a slur of racist jokes and profanities, but he started it when he threw the first punch. T-Dog stood his ground, until Merle retried, missing but then receiving hos dose of punches. It kept going for what felt like 20 minutes until Rick stepped in and punched Merle down to the ground.

He took the handcuffs off his belt holster and attached him to a rusty blue pipe across the ledge of the roof.

"Ya listen to me. In this world we live in now, there are no "niggers." We need each other. So if you aint gonna play nice. You aint gonna play at all." Rick said while spitting in Merles face.

"I'll kill ya ye hear!" Merle yelled. He continued screaming profanities and shaking the handcuffs, until giving up and slouching his shoulders downwards.

"Now we need to find a way out of here." Morales said looking around the city's streets. I nodded along and looked down at Casey. She took my hand and I squeezed it tight. "Shay, we are gonna be ok, right?" I scrunched my face slightly at this question, not completely having a definite answer. "I wont let anything happen to you Casey." I told her hoping to subside her fears.

" Morales, ya got any ideas?" Andrea said nervously.

"I do." Said a middle aged african-american women. "There should be a sewer on the final floor of the store. If I'm right, it should lead us out of here." She finished.

"Alright. Me, Glenn and Morales will look in the sewer. The rest of y'all try to keep the walkers away from the store." Rick said. Then he was off with the two men.

I walked down the stairs with the rest of the group as the yells of Merle faded. On the entrance floor the walkers had started clawing at doors. More and more started coming. One even had a rock.

"Y'all this doors not gonna hold much longer." I said. I saw Casey talking to the women who told Morales about the sewer drains. I walked over to Andrea who was staring down at an open black box. Inside it was a beautiful mermaid necklace with a sea green tail and silver hair.

"It's beautiful." I said to Andrea startling her a little bit. She chuckled and looked at me then looked back down to the jewelry.

"I want to take it for my sister, but I think its the wrong thing to do." she said shyly.

I laughed and looked at her. "Its the end if the world Andrea, take it. Let your sister enjoy it." I said smiling. She smiled back then furrowed her brow.

"Ok!" she said laughing nervously. "I feel like I'm stealing. I know I'm not- but its oddly exciting!" I laughed with her but was interrupted by the sound of running footsteps.

I saw Rick, Morales and Glenn there with bewildered expressions.

"Its a dead end isn't it?" I said upset.

They nodded while gasping for air, running their hand through their hair and looking around for another way out. "Damn it!" I yelled kicking the glass compartment. "Shay?" Asked Casey from across the room. "Its ok Case, we-were gonna be just fine." She nodded her head and continued talking to the unannounced woman.

"I have an another idea. But its a bit out there." Rick said.

I gave him a confused look as he nodded his head in the direction to a door. Everyone followed as we stepped through and saw an empty room with a few boxes in the back.

"I did an arrest in this room about a 6 years ago, can't I forgot the arrest that made me a Sherif." he said chuckling.

"What in the hell are you laughing at fool? There ain't no way we can make it past tgem roamin ones!" T-Dog yelled to Rick.

"We dont have to past them, we just have to kill one." Rick grabbed a fearful Glenn and went outside the back doors.

After a few seconds of hearing the sound of hitting and walker moans, Rick and Glenn walked in with a dead walker being dragged between the two of them.

"What the hell?!" The unknown black woman screamed out

"Jacque, its cool this plan could actually work!" Glenn said smiling.

"What plan is that?" I said with a face of disgust.

"We smell like them." Rick said walking over with an axe.

"Whoa, man what the fuck?! I thought we were just gonna, I dont know take their close of or something." Glenn yelled at Rick.

"That wont last, they'll still smell our blood. We gonna go stronger scented." Rick said.

"Crazy Motherfucker." was all I could mutter.
