A PROMISE OF TOGETHERNESS

Next day

Next morning when I wake up there was a big smile on my face. I took my phone and drop a  text to harry to pick me up. It was 1 hour prior to office. I got ready and went downstairs to have breakfast. Mom dad and graham all were having breakfast and when they saw me all greeted me one by one.  I go and hugged my brother as he is the reason why i am so tension free. I am the luckiest girl in this world as I got him as my brother. Then I hugged mom and dad. I sat in between graham and mom and started eating the bacon mom prepared. Mom gave me a glass of mango shake and asked me to complete it as I am not a big fan of shakes and fruits. I ate my breakfast and then went upstairs to take my bag and phone. When I checked my phone I saw harry miscall which means he is standing outside. I said my goodbye to all 3 and left.

Harry was standing on his deathtrap I went and hugged him. He was shocked from my sudden mood change. I didn't said anything just sat on his bike after hugging him. He asked me the reason of my good mood. I told him that from now on I wont get angry on him and I am lucky to have him in my life. He didn't ask any more question although he had a lot of them in his minds, I know him.
We reached office on time and after harry parked the bike we went upstairs together. When I reached the office I greeted Ella and other people whom I know and went straight to my cabin.

After 1 hour of working I received a call from the boss.  He asked me and Harry to come to his office urgently. I informed harry and without wasting any more time we were standing in boss cabin. He informed us there are 2 clients coming and they will be here in 3 hours and we both have to prepare a presentation for them. After hearing it I was tensed as it is too early to prepare the presentation but we didn't have a say so we both left the boss cabin and decided to divide the work as it cant be handled by a single person. I decided to prepare the presentation and harry decided to give the presentation and complete the documentation. I was done with the presentation in 2 hours and gave it to harry so that he can prepare. I went to get a coffee for me and harry as after continuous work I was having a headache.

It was exactly 3 hours and we are still discussing regarding the presentation when my phone rings. I received it when I saw Ella name flashing she told me that clients have arrived so we need to hurry up. I said okay and after disconnecting her call informed harry about the client arrival. I went outside to greet the clients and they informed me that they are just the associate, there boss will be coming in 15 minute as he is stuck somewhere. I took my leave from them and went directly to my cabin and informed that we are dealing with 3 people.

After 30 minute presentation started. Harry was giving the presentation and I went to collect all the documents. All 3 were sitting inside although I have not seen the 3rd person.

I went inside the presentation room after taking all the documents. I went to greet the boss, but I was shocked seeing the person in front of me. I don't know whether to give him formal greet or call him by his name. I remembered boss is sitting in front of me so I went with formal greeting.

Alrick was smiling looking at me for the whole time while harry was giving presentation and harry was getting angrier with every minute. As he completed the presentation he went outside asking me to continue with the rest formality.

After 1 hour more everything was done. The deal has been finalized and all were leaving for the day but before I could move out of the presentation room. I heard Alrick voice and he was saying something to boss and by the way they were talking it was clear that boss has agreed to whatever he was saying. When I move out of the presentation  room he came to me and asked me to get ready by evening and after saying that he left with a smirk on his face. I went directly to my cabin to see harry as he was not in a good mood. When I went inside he was sitting inside with his head down.  I asked him is he okay. At first he didn't said anything then suddenly he start laughing. I didn't understand so I asked him.
Jennie - Why are you laughing?
Harry - Now i understand why you were smiling today. You know that he was coming right. He was the reason why that fucking smile was plastered on your face. How many guys do you need in your life.
Jennie - I didn't know he was coming. If I would have been happy for his arrival I wouldn't have hugged you neither came with you. I would have come with him not you. You always jump to conclusion,  I am tired of this. You have a problem with me say that on my face. (I said while crying)

I left the cabin after saying that. I went to the washroom, cleaned my face and went to boss cabin to take a day leave. He agreed as it was only 1 hour left to our shift end. I went back to my cabin, took my bag and phone and left without saying goodbye to harry.

When I went outside I saw Alrick standing with his colleague. When he saw me he asked me to join them. I joined them but I just want to leave as I was not in a good mood so I told Alrick I am leaving. He understand I am not in a good mood so he asked me where I was going. I told him home so he asked me whether he could drop me. I said okay. In 10 minutes we were on road.
