A PROMISE OF TOGETHERNESS

A day full of fun

Cannes is a place where you need to visit once in your lifetime. Beautiful beaches, spectacular building is a sight to see. From the morning to dawn i enjoyed my day. I started my day by visiting a CCD to grab a cup of Latino and then i went to Le Suquet (a place where beauty lies). After doing little bit of shopping there, i went to La Croisette to see the beauty called Cannes and finally to end my day with a water view i went to the island named the Iles de Lérins, two lovely islands, free from bling, where you can breathe free and easy. At around 7 i came back to his apartment. When i enter inside Alrick was sweating. I went to him and ask him. Before i could even touch he shrug my hand and asked me where was I. I forget to inform him that i was out, he would have been tense about me and moreover my phone is dead. I said sorry to him and told him i won't repeat it again. First he didn't talk but after constant sorry he forgive me. He asked me whether i ate something. When i said no so he started laughing. I asked him the reason of his laughter so he told me - quand vous êtes en France vous ne pouvez pas rester affamé. I asked him to repeat the same thing in english so he said you cant stay hungry at France. You need to eat. There are finger licking dishes. He asked me to wait and he went to make something for me.

After an hour he came out with bacon, sandwiches and a cup of coffee. God this guy is love. He pamper me so much. We ate silently and as we both were tired so we slept.

I woke up again at midnight. And lying on the bed my mind again drifted to harry.

Love can make you strong and on the same hand make you weak. As much as I want to forget harry, his memories came haunting me. How much i run away from it, i am surrounded by it. How much i hate him for what he did, i always fall for him just looking at his face. Love is a feeling everyone wants to feel but scared to give it to others.

I was deep in my thoughts for around 30 minutes and then i slept. Woke up when someone pulled my sheet from my body. I woke up with anger on my face to shout at the person standing in front of me. When I open my mouth to shout at the intruder no words came out. I was numb. Alrick was standing only in a towel covering his lower body and his toned chest was on display. He has just came out of shower as his hairs were wet and there were water droplets all over his body. Asshole he is finding it funny. When I didn't speak he asked me in a taunting tone "Cat got your tongue honey?"
Jennie - No, why are you in just towel. Can't wear full clothes.
Alrick - Why? Having hard time controlling yourself.
Jennie - No, i don't care whether you are in towel or in clothes.
Alrick - Really jen, and he keep coming towards me.
When he was just in front of my face, he kissed my cheeks placed towel over me and left me stunned. When i look at myself i was just wearing a white T-shirt with nothing inside. Fuck this is embarrassing. I wore a bra and then went to greet him. Finally he was fully dressed.

I greeted him and helped him in kitchen and after we were done we ate the breakfast and then he went. I washed the utensil and went to take bath.

Today I decided to visit few more places so i wore denim jeans and a black crop top. Completing my looks with black boots. I decided to visit- Notre-Dame de l'Esperance (gothic style church). What is better than starting your day with the blessing of almighty. I took a bus to the church and spend almost 1 hour in church. Its a best feeling sitting in sacred places like church, temple, mosque. They bring peace to our mind. We feel calm, we can talk our heart out without thinking. I love the aroma of church, so calm, so blissful. It is where you feel happy, free from all tension. After i was done with my prayer i decided to visit Le Suquet. You can enjoy the breathtaking view from here. I don't know for how long I was sitting there but when I decided to leave it was dark. I took a bus and went to McDonalds and drop a text to Alrick so he won't get tensed. I took my burger and a cold drink and made my way towards Alrick apartment. As I was opening Alrick door to get inside someone hold me from behind. Before I could shout he put his hand on my mouth. I tried to get away from him but he was stronger. I bite on his hand. He cried in pain. When i turn to hit his groin with my knee, the person standing in front of me made me laugh. Alrick was standing in front of me and his hands were on his lower front. He was saying sorry continuously. I forgive him but after hitting him on his hand.

We went inside. I went to make a coffee for us. I gave one to him and asked him about his day. He told me he had a talk with his boss and there is a vacancy for business development manager and he has schedule the interview tomorrow. I went inside and start preparing for the interview. I arrange every thing I will be needing for the interview. We ate macaroni as we both have not eaten anything before coming. After eating we both went to our respective room. I kissed him on his Cheeks and went to sleep. Before sleeping i texted mom good night and changed into my night dress and slept.

Next day passed in a blur. Getting ready for interview, giving interview and then finally waiting for the result. At around 7 we got free with a good news i got selected in his company. I called mom and informed her and dad about the interview and even to graham. I was about to call harry but before even a ring went I disconnected the call. I don't want to talk to him. He don't need me in his life.

We went to celebrate the day in a restaurant near by. We ordered pizza and a red wine. Alrick told me i can loose myself today. I can get drunk tonight and there is no one to stop me. After dinner me and Alrick went to the disc. We were dancing at the beats of thunder by imagine dragons. When suddenly when i was your man start blaring from speaker. This song holds a lot of memory of me and harry. Alrick pulled me towards him by keeping one hand on my waist and other on my shoulder. We keep on dancing but at a moment Alrick was too close to me that our bodies were touching. I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him on his lips. I was so lost in him that i confessed him while kissing "i love you harry". When i opened my eyes Alrick was looking at me with the sad eyes. Then i understand what I did. I went outside crying and sat on the hood of the car. Few minutes later Alrick joined me with a glass of water. Before he could say anything i hugged him and started crying. He kept on saying soothing words and kept rubbing his hands my back. He just kept saying its okay jen relax. You are okay and i kept on crying. He picked me up bridal style and placed me on the passenger seat of car and buckle me up.

I woke up when I found someone carrying me. I start getting restless and seeing me getting restless Alrick hugged me more to him and asked me to sleep. I slept in his arms again.

When I woke up in the morning no one was there. Alrick was gone and near to my bed 2 tablets were there with a bottle of water and a handwritten note. Where in a cursive handwriting "take care" has been written. I smiled reading the msg and then i went to make coffee.
But on table a coffee and 2 pancakes were kept. I ate them, took bath and watched Riverdale for the whole day.

After 3 more days of doing nothing finally the day came when i have to join Alrick company.
