Lauren's POV

I woke up only to be blinded by the sun. I blinked a few times until my eyes adjusted to the light. I yawned and stretched. I looked around and saw Normani lying next to me. Biting my lip, I moved away from her.

"No, stop, please." She was mumbling and thrashing around in her sleep. "It hurts, please stop, Arin." Tears were streaming down her cheeks.

Sighing, I shook her until she woke up. "You're okay." I whispered.

Her eyes flew open and she flinched away from me. "I'm sorry!" She sobbed out.

"It's okay." I said softly, moving away from her and curling up again I buried my face in my knees. I closed my eyes, wanting to go back to sleep.

I heard the bedroom door open. "Good morning." Camila said softly.

Normani flinched and curled into herself even more. "Don't hurt me."

A frown grew on Camila's lips as she walked over to us. "Laur, are you okay?" She asked caressing my cheek.

I pushed myself onto my side, facing away from her, praying I'd fall back asleep. I couldn't face either of them. A tear slipped out of my eye.

"Baby?" She whispered, picking me up and carrying me into the bedroom, laying me on the bed. "Talk to me."

I shook my head, curling up on myself on the bed.

Sighing, she climbed on the bed and wrapped her arms around me. "Baby, listen to me. I called my dad and he's sending a jet to pick Mani up, it just won't reach us for two days."

I closed my eyes, I couldn't help but relax into her arms. I didn't say anything.

"I know it was supposed to be just us, I don't know how she got here or how she knew where the cottage was." She held me closer and began rubbing my back.

Sighing, I felt myself relax more. I rolled over and curled up in her side.

Camila lifted my head and kissed me slow and deeply, her hand still rubbing my back.

I kissed her back before pulling away and burying my head in her chest. "I just want to sleep." I mumbled.

"I know baby, I wasn't starting anything, I just wanted my kiss." She said softly, rubbing my back and holding me close.

I nodded against her chest, closing my eyes and wrapping my arms around her.

It wasn't long before we both fell asleep.

Two hours later

When I woke up again, Camila was still wrapped around me, but was awake and watching the tv.

I looked up at her and watched her. I hadn't realised how much she had changed. Not wanting to disrupt her, I buried my head back in her chest.

"Mmm, you're awake." She said, kissing my head softly.

Dammit, I didn't want to disrupt her. I stayed quiet, hoping she'd still think I was sleep.

A soft laugh escaped her lips. "I know you're awake baby."

Sighing, I looked up at her. "I want to go back to sleep." I mumbled, yawning.

"You have an adorable yawn." She said.

I rolled my eyes and looked down shyly.

Lifting my head, she looked into my eyes and smiled. "I love you." She whispered.
