Camila's POV

Taking Normani's hand, I led her into the restaurant and towards the table where our family was sitting.

"Finally, why do you keep leaving?" Zayn asked coldly.

Normani flinched slightly and looked down.

"Zayn!" Lauren warned, hitting her brother's shoulder softly. She gave him a look that I didn't understand and Zayn growled lowly.

Sitting down at the table, I wrap my arm around Normani's shoulder.

"Did you want anything to eat?" I asked her softly.

Biting her lip, she looked at the menu. "I'll just have a salad." She whispered.

I nodded. "Okay." I said softly, looking at the menu in her hands.

She hands me the menu and stares at the table.

"Thank you." I whispered in her ear, turning my attention to the menu.

"Good afternoon, my name is Cecile, I'll be your waitress today. What can I get for you?" A blonde waitress asked walking up to us.

We all look up at her.

"I'll have a tuna pasta and a salad." I said, ordering Normani's food for her.

Everyone quickly went around ordering their food and drinks.

"Alright, I'll be back with your order." The waitress said with a smile before walking off.

"Mani, what's wrong?" Lauren asked softly.

Looking up, Normani furrows her brows. "What do you mean?" She asked.

"You just seem a little quiet, that's all. I just thought something was wrong. Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." Lauren rambled, looking down at her hands shyly. "Sorry." She mumbled.

Reaching across the table, Mani grabs Lauren's hand. "Don't be sorry, we'll talk about it later."

Lauren nodded, not looking up at her. She swallowed thickly and bit her lip.

Two hours later

"Mama, cans we get ice cream?" Scarlett asked excitedly.

"Sure, princess." I smiled softly at her.

Scarlett claps her hands excitedly and lets out a squeal. "Yay!"

I giggled softly. She loves ice cream almost as much as Lauren does.

We stopped at one of the ice cream areas and sat down, a few of us went up to get the orders.

After a few minutes, we came back over with the ice cream and passed them out.

Scarlett and Lauren's eyes widened in excitement before they both began digging in.

Normani was barely touching her's, while the rest of the kids were eating quietly.

"Mani, if you don't want it, you don't have to eat it." I whispered in her ear, putting a scoop of ice cream in my mouth.

She lifted her head to look at me before dropping her eyes back to the cone she had asked for.

I sighed, kissing the side of her head. "Are you okay?" I whispered in her ear.

Nodding her head slowly, she lifts the cone to her lips and takes a small bite of the ice cream.
